  1. Thanks for putting this together Dale Anyone who hasn't done sway bars on their car, get on this group buy! They make a brilliant difference and really reduce that barge feeling
  2. jut to clarify, 4wd C34 floorpan is the same for seat mounting to: R32 R33 R34 4WD (GTS4, GTR) Any of these will botl straight in. The R34 2wd eg R34 GTT is different, this is likely to the the right layout for 2wd stagea. All of which reminds me, I should but the leather stagea seats in the race car for extra comfort on those touring stages
  3. lol yeah webber's back in form. 1.5 sec off his teammate.
  4. And I also see a trend in here of ongoing personal attacks between the owners of 2 models of cars, not to mention far too many threads deteriorating into shit fights, or going so far off topic no-one whould ever guess what the original topic was The purpose of this forum is to share information and experience on Stageas, not to practice arguing on the internet. Plenty of other places you can try that. And anyone that feel the needs to just talk about random off topic stuff already has a whore thread here to do that in. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/342557-this-is-the-new-recipe-chat-thread/ So how about every grows up a little so I don't have to go on a banning spree again? Particularly the "senior" members who have been here a while, how about you focus on creating a positive community, and welcoming new people to it.
  5. man I wish there was a cool tools thread somewhere...
  6. And we can sort out your cams license on the day, just let us know early so we can get the paperwork done
  7. mighty boy!
  8. in that case it connects to the power steering rack...it is the only wiring on it.
  9. $400 doesn't buy you much carbon fibre. couldn't even buy a single coilover for that
  10. quality hotel look the goods. i hope the quality is "good" not "bad", they don't say
  11. I still think this is the most likely reason. Give the colling system a good flush and perhaps clean the radiator. Other than some crap in the radiator, are there any signs of a blown hg? loosing water? water in oil? loss of power /compression? zorst in the water? (already ruled out). Even if there is....if it is "midly blown" or "early", I would got straight for the chemiweld. Best case it fixes the problem for $10. Worst caase the motor is a bitch to clean for rebuilding....but as said above you would probably just start with a new one.
  12. good question....I haven't booked yet either! Locals....what is cheap, reasonable and preferably within stumbling distance of dinner? (or are you locals acting as designated drivers for the invaders )
  13. Also should mention....we are going to review gps/phone based lap timers at this day and do a writeup/comparison in an upcoming newsletter....stay tuned
  14. You two better be coming along
  15. Please organise a warm snap in the weather
  16. SAU:NSW has organised an invasion of the ACT on the weekend of 20-21 August. We have 3 events back to back: Beginner's track day at Marulan Driver Training Centre. 17. BTW ironic thread title considering how things ended up...fingers crossed they last OK
  18. forklift = problem solved. go jacks under rears, forklift tines under front wheel, drag it out.
  19. the ps is a pressure switch I think (warning light?) it connects to the hard piping for power steering under the alternator.
  20. yes...sort of....you need to earth the fuel pump relay as the switch is out of the car. And earth the wire to the main relay because the killswitch is out too. maybe pushing is easier I'll organise to get the new console in in the next week or 2 sounds like good toys
  21. sweet....thanks for taking it mate. feel free to chuck it in too
  22. good to see the entries coming in....we need to fill this so we can keep running these types of events. It is almost impossible to book Wakefield, and Eastern Creek want $20k a day (so, we would have to charge about $500 per entrant). Places like MDTC can give us a cheap way to scratch the track itch Scott, we will find out and confirm. If you are looking at doing a few track days there are IR based lap timers like AIM that mean you can get times at any event.
  23. reducing tyres would be great news, it makes sense all around cheaper to run safer due to slower/harder compounds
  24. fwiw, this is the fast diagram for r32 gtr power steering. but it includes HICAS and is hard to follow here is a slightly better one from the workshop manual
