  1. you missed out Ryan
  2. take the fuel line off the fuel rail and let the pump do it's job?
  3. what was wrong with the fuse, blown?
  4. rotor. not sure if you have a spare noddy but I have some useable brembo sized spares if you need 324x32mm
  5. noel....you are as bad a host as I am. I come to your state and you can't even drop by and say hi. is that pay back for wakie?
  6. ryan, you are missing out. this track rocks. sau nsw road trip for here and lakeside mid next year.
  7. lol more beer than racing I think. news from me is the car is running great, best is about 1.24.4 so far, will try a bit harder in the morning. puts me about 4th in sports cars but considering the mods on the car I'm very happy with that. on the down side at least 1 turbo is dead so I'll be surprised if i last the full day tomorrow. also stu has had a bastard of a day with his fuel pump, hopefully the bits from the cordless angle grinder will see him back out there and running well tomorrow good to catch up with scooby, harry, noddy etc too. good vids to post including noddy's 150klm/h+ drift at the back of the new section....can't do it till i get home tho.
  8. see you in 5
  9. made it to practice today, and chris got here just in time for the pissing down raining when practice finished i'll try and put some laps on youtube tonight
  10. armidale is farking cold....but i bet stu is colder at glen innes! noddy give me a bell tomorrow if you get a chance - are you heading out to practice? btw i have a head for you
  11. good price...I got 2 items of those with charger and 2 batteries for about 800
  12. I happily use them and have for years.
  13. good call, thanks noddy. re tyres....I'm just bringing what I've got, so if I'm forced to run my production car as a sports sedan it will be pretty ugly. It's a shame national champs don't follow CAMS national rules, but it's not really the organising club's fault. CAMS left it open to local clubs running them under local rules which was the real mistake. so....mostly just looking forward to a good road trip, a new track, and a good weekend
  14. I've found them excellent for hard street and light track use. But as said above they are hard on rotors, and dusty like crazy.
  15. great work, 12 hours is a lot of racing to survive
  16. makes sense, thanks harry. we dont have the same distinction down here, they call them, supersprints but all have rolling starts. I've only done standing starts at the conrod straight supersprint, hillclimbs, and one sprint at oran park years ago. stu, you are keener than me, i remember how cold inland nights are (come to think, so should you!). I guess we will make tamworth or armidale only.
  17. interesting, I haven't done a standing start supersprint in about 5 years. only flying lap times down here. I'm leaving thrusday arvo, so I might get a shot at some practice if I feel keen. but I'll probably feel more like beer than practice.
  18. yes, first sharp corner after a long downhill. it appears showroom cars have more inertia than brakes on a long downhill stage. reeves came through about an hour after they went of and rolled at the same spot.
  19. Well both driver and navigator confirmed it was not a navigator error.......so driver or mechanical failure either way, scans and xrays came through last night and nothing serious.....no doubt she'll be very sore for a few days though
  20. interestingly for the nsw-ers who know her too, Alex Hailstone (-alex on sau) was navigating in the other team car and had a great run in her first event.. excellent to hear Alex is still keen to be part of the scene, and diving right into it. props to her for getting in the silly seat of a rally mx-5
  21. yeah same....imagine the naging I would get if she wasn't! Matt....what is this faceplace you speak of?
  22. lol....given your previous questions about cages...what are your thoughts Duncan? Vic events have an automatic "slicks require cages" rule.
  23. hmm still has the neck brace on but they think it is all fine. estimated impact was 100+, head on to the bank.
  24. or at the sway bar mounts, or at the front under the main subframe (not the front radiator support). if for some reason you need to use the chassis rails, place something under there to spread the load like a metal bar about a foot long.
