  1. cmon liz pay up! will be good to meet you mate, its a hell of a trip down here but should be worth it hey if you can handle vtec you can probably handle a stock skyline....but I've got a strict rule that you have to have lost blood working on the car before you can drive it will be good to see you out there
  2. sorry to hear that. was it before or after this post? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=4830423 " Yesterday, 10:48 PM Was driving in front of GO-33-GO today on South Dowling"
  3. roy there is a super sprint run at bathurst 2nd week november. not cheap at $6.4k but hey you get to do full laps of bathurst for 3 days
  4. its a 32 gtst mate....you can replace the whole car for $4k....twice
  5. 1.16 on the gp gives you about .48 or .47 on the short track....
  6. indeed....or spend 3k on shocks and 5k on driver training and practice days
  7. lol sif. i heard they landed a very respectable time....
  8. oh they are a bunch of 2 faced scammers, cynically feeding off their go-ggo image. try a claim with them (up until about 12-18 months ago things were great). now days they have been taken over by suncorp, standards and attitudes in management have changed...and we are about to lodge our complaint with the industry ombudsman. I'm sure Kel will be happy to elabourate though
  9. probably a factor....but maybe not the only one in rb blocks. since they are cast, have a full girdle and the crank is factory forged and nitrided...they are pretty strong compared to many motors despite being a long 6 cylinder. this is supported by the fact they almost never spin main bearings.....
  10. nothing...unless its plugged in it warns of high temp in the cat - ie cat blocked.
  11. I am 99% sure there was an armco wall there before fox bought it and did the safety improvements. and there was no kitty litter at turn 1 before. I'm sure the armco will be back soon enough you cannot take the chance of a car coming off and hitting another car on another part of the track.
  12. +1, cat temp sensor. you can see that it has a stainless braid outside which is required for the heat resistance
  13. 24 october mate it is a saturday
  14. I can get obx forza (wide arse spec) for about 300 a pair atm, they are on special. adr approved.
  15. but...you just need an equaivalent faster, not the same. if it has a hole and access to the back....a bolt with nut will work if necessary. if it is a hole within 1cm of the edge of the sheet you can use the spring clips that take self tapping screws. if its a hole with no access to the back get any of the plastic clips with the right outer diameter and shove them in. when it comes no nylone grommets a square peg most certainly will fit in round hole worst case most bodykits in this world are held on with double sided tape... do you have a pic of the problem?
  16. Kel and I have entered last chance for OP!
  17. well...you are entered and paid if that's what you are asking still heaps of spots available though
  18. sorry not sure how long it would take a workshop with a hoist.....would take me an hour to drop the subframe and 1/2 to raise it again but that has been on and off a few times. definately a job to get someone else to do
  19. I'd add an H to that and make it a thrust bearing but normally only do that when you are replacing the clutch...and if you are in a preventative maintenance kind of mood check the rear main seal at the same time.
  20. no need to deal with nissan - any car bits store will sell an equivalent clip you can use.
  21. thankfully that recently changed in NSW. We can now tow a load up to the manufacturers stated limit. but since OP doesn't have a location in their profile its a bit hard to be specific
  22. welll without searching too hard you should have been able to find the 200+ post thread on the same topic...... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/JJ...li-t187108.html I've locked this one so just post up in the other.
  23. pete...we'll have a tv there. no point missing 8 hours at oran park for 80 mins of footie. brad...still plenty of spots, but we need payment to secure a spot. bring greg too. Kel and I are bringing the race car out for its last run at oran park....don't want to miss this one like I did at amaroo....warwick farm....mt druitt....maroubra speedway......penrith speedway.....catalina park......parramatta park GP.....nirimba raceway....victoria park.....you get the idea
