  1. should we believe what i was told around 2months ago (by a yard owner), there were only a couple left australia wide, mostly in qld. He therefore couldnt sell me a 33 until may-ish.
  2. benm i did my hks pods (green element). They are buggered and need replacing anyways, so i thought i'd try a bit of a clean. Hot soapy water didnt do much, but get the degreaser on to them and wow! There is alotta black crap these things can hold. Left them to dry in a 29celcius night, put back in car and everything sounds a lot crisper. Im not sure if these are meant to be oiled or not????
  3. price? location? tyre brand? condition?
  4. is this the same for a 33GTR????
  5. im tooooo keen for a cruise..... in my new baby went out friday night, unreal how many people wanna drag!!:burnout: and get smoked.
  6. the ones i have are similar to these..... i dare say they are not idetical,
  7. i cannt find any info of tracking systems operating in adelaide the subscription to these would be a pain in the a$$, but nice piece of mind have heard stories of tracking boxes being found on the road where a stolen car was once parked..... i suppose not hidden well enough
  8. anybody have good or bad things to say about the Boomerang system. Seems like an expensive option, but good to know that the alarm will page you if it goes off (and you are in range) rather than relying on other peoples reaction to a blarring car alarm.
  9. Leewah: pics for me may take awhile aswell, so no great rush i guess Munro: parts from the 3ltr on my car....... WOW ! *we're not worthy, we're not worthy* I bet there's heaps of tread left on the tyres:uh-huh: I'll wait and see what the bank has to say first.
  10. Pics? neg on the price consiering would have to ship to adelaide?
  11. Looking for a set (4) of genuine nissan R33 GTR 17" wheels. Might even consider swapping a set of 17" Volk rims with new tyres (missing centre caps).
  12. Fella's after an opinion on alarms that are suitable for adelaide vehicles. I realise some of the pager or GPS systems arent set up to work here yet (or never), and would like to know if there are any favourites amongst you all. Things like costings and where to get installed would also help.
  13. Further reading: "The V-Spec car has an extra pump with a short hydraulic line leading into the side of the rear differential" The photo's look like this is a much smaller silver-bronze coloured unit.
  14. I realise this has been posted a number of times, but having looked at a proposed 33 GTR V-SPEC recently, and wanting to confirm its genuineness, I did my homework (like a good boy) and found Martin Donnon's article in HPI #16. To save people scouring the posts about this topic as I have done here is a summary of the article: Most people are aware that the V-SPEC has the updated ATTESA ETS PRO tourque split. Updates itself 1000 times per second compared to 20 times per second on standard GTR's (4 times per second on the 32 models). This is identifiable by * finned diff cover with hyd line from right hand side * two electric pumps under a black plastic cover inthe rear right hand corner of the vehicle * hydrlines comming from these pumps into the rear of the gear box and the other to the rear steering rack The dash will have a 'A-LSD' warning light above the tacho. Easy for immitation cars due to the number of 320km/hr replacements resulting in spare genuine V-SPEC clusters. The brake ducts are flat number 7 shaped objects rather than conventional 32 and 33 snorkle type set ups. Blue identification plate near the brake booster will show a chassis id number containing the letter 'W' rather than the standard 'Q' Front lip on the spoiler is 10mm closer to the ground due to different springs and shocks The next point does not appear in the article, but i have been told that the V-SPEC has an upgraded sound system, evident by factory looking square tweeters on the A-pillar.????true??? The final non-reliable sign is of course the 'V-SPEC' sticker on the boot lid, which can be had for less than $20 if you ask your Nissan dealer nicely. With this information in hand I'm off to hopefully hand over some cash and join the world of GTR owners. If there are any other signs that people know of that are missed please add to the list!!!!! PS Martin I hope this isnt considered copy-right breaching.:uh-huh:
