  4. 3 week of ownership gone. Installed a HKS pod filter this week, amazing how much the top end opens up. Also changed the sound system over to PAL compliant CD/DVD/MP3/ Digital TV option..... this is with Mel's old Alpine monitor, so if anybody needs the Jap system or bits from it (All Addzest - Sat Nav, Digital Sound Processor, Monitor, Head unit). We think we have found a CHEAP solution for the NTSC/ PAL problems in getting the Jap TV system to work here..... but seeing as we had the Alpine unit already, utilised that. GSM pager alarm being installed today.... no problems with being out of range like other pagers, this one rings your mobile phone! Again if others are interested, I can arrange a group buy for under $400 each. QUESTION: What is the purpose of the 4wd looking button on the dash fascia, sits under the wiper stalk: \------\ S \------\ ?????????
  5. AGSB comes highly recommended from me!
  6. My OEM bonnet/ nose splitter dislodged and was run over by the car following me @ 110km/hr. To find a replacement, I have hunted high and low, and can only find the below item from UAS for $250. Nissan want $700 for the original item, unpainted~! Does anybody know of, or could make any suggestions as to where I might find another alternative?
  7. both if available..... to the AFM and to the body and postage to adelaide?
  8. does the hks filter have the mounting adaptor?

  10. intercooler available?
  11. clutch fan... how much + shipping to adelaide?
  12. Went through regency this morning, no probs... except i forgot to take the 'owners manual' with the car. "I'll let it go this time".... phew! I have also spent over 100km in the car today, and must say it is a dream to drive. Quiet, silky smooth throttle, yet goes like a skun cat. Worst part so far: $50 = 1/2 tank of fuel... sign of the times though.
  13. Pre-clean-and-buff piccies: Man is that alot of car to wash!
  14. Cheers Darrin. The Stagea arrived in our driveway on Monday afternoon, after leaving Southport about the same time last week (apparently the transporter came across a flooded bridge and had to find another route). I have spent the public holiday today cleaning it all up and familiarising myself with this piece of family wagon magic. The white pearl colour is simply amazing when freshly washed. Engine runs extremely smooth and quiet, with the nismo exhaust giving only just a noticable note, fantastic. The premium Addzest sound system sounds fantastic (Bass engine under passenger seat, and Digital sound processor under driver's).... although some of it will end up being binned (Sat Nav and TV is in Japanese and the head unit will need a FM expander). ANYBODY HAVE ANY NEED OR IDEAS ON WHAT TO DO WITH THESE COMPONENTS? I was lucky enough to find three small tokens of the previous owner's life with the car also: a 10 Yen coin, a Cigarette that had been dropped down the seat, and the rear ashtray was full of aqua coloured little 'pearls' (old airfresheners I assume). Its off to vehicle inspection and ID check tomorrow and then she is on the road!
  15. got 4 from my 33gtr $150 plus postage?
  16. what is the boost doing at this time? i had a similar problem, turned out to be the intercooler hose had slipped off a little.
  17. shhhhh on the local front.... playing it quiet until we get it on the road
  18. Brendan buddy, you got any further details on the shocks and springs? model, rates etc? PS... stagea comming soon
  19. That was me that you were asking about that sticker on my R. PM Prank... I'm sure he was the one that orgainised them a number of years ago. I think I still have one left in my drawer.
  20. Appreciated thanks Fhrx. We're in Adelaide however. The headunit is a Clarion unit of around 5-7 years vintage, and was working fine prior to the 4ch 600w US Audio Amp and wiring and twin DVC Orion 10" Subs, being removed yesterday. I did not run a new earth, but rather sliced into the cigarette lighter earth, as time is lacking at them moment, with the car due at its new owner's property on Wednesday. Im more and more convinced that it is a headunit problem, as the 'pop' will also occur when the power button is pressed with no keys in the car's ignition!!
  21. yup
  22. Can anyone relate to similar experience... I have just removed subs and amp from R32... and left head unit to run 4 speakers. Upon turning ignition to "ON" the speaker will 'pop' loudly once, and then again once when ignition id turned off. Sounds like dodgey earth to me, so have re-established a new earthing point. The funny (or not so) part is when the headunit fascia is removed when the ignition is on, and all four speakers will pop in a pulsing and repetitive way until the ignition is turned off. Perhaps the headunit is faulty?
  23. sent you a PM - the mobile number you have provided is missing a digit
