  1. That was me I drive to work that way each morning, although was running a bit late this morning....
  2. My clutch is on its last legs too, pretty much stock R34GTT. Any advice on what type/brand of clutch as a replacement would be greatly appreciated.
  3. So Nikitaj, do any of the others going to the formal need a ride on the day, that way some of the other guys that have offered the use of their cars here would still be able to be part of the day?
  4. I'm in. Nikitaj, can you PM me with details of who, where and when I am picking up on the day, also pick up times etc. Thanks, mick
  5. Hey there, the wheels are Work Emotion CR Kai
  6. There's two versions! So is the long version a lot of interviews etc as I watched some of that stuff on Youtube.
  7. ***UPDATE*** Just checked Dendy's website for Canberra and they will be screening Senna - The Movie from 11 August........About bloody time!! Woo hoo http://www.dendy.com.au/moviedetail.asp?Mov_ID=M3576
  8. Spotted a black GTR (R35) driving along side me this afternoon around 4.45pm heading north on Adelaide Ave from Woden. He passed me and gave me a wave, naturally I waved back. Awesome looking piece of sheet metal, just beautiful.....one day !!
  9. He he. Should only be used under the supervision of a responsible adult.
  10. Great work Dan. Keep us updated on developments on the R34 tail lights.
  11. Any pics of the LED tail lights, and what brand, thanks
  12. Damn Chev badged Common-dores. Don't those dumb asses know their car is a GM product and not a Chev product !! Chevrolet is a GM PRODUCT - just as is Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Buick etc. The exported Monaro was even badged as a Pontiac in the good ol US of A, so if you really wanna put a US badge on your "Commondore" then it should be a Pontiac badge not a Chev badge - dumb asses !! However it is still a HOLDEN no matter how you wrap it he he. There finally got that off my chest........ Oh BTW, spotted a tidy looking Silver R33 GTR on Wednesday near Lanyon shops. I was in the black R34 GTT which you let in front of you, thanks dude!
  13. Happy to help out. Have done a school Formal before, good fun
  14. That was me, I work in the building across the road
  15. Haven't heard any more on this (as far as a nationally organised event goes). Has anybody heard if SAU presidents etc are trying to organise something!!!
  16. Hi all, I was just looking at this thread on the Vic SAU forums http://www.skylinesa...pan-earthquake/ where they are suggesting a charity cruise/event to raise money for the Japanese earthquake. There is suggestion that this be a National run event that should take place in each Australian State on the same day (if possible). Seeing as though we all cherish our Japanese vehicles so much I have to agree with our Victorian brothers that this would be an excellent idea. I have never really had much to do with organising an event for charity and don't really know where to start to make this happen, so I agree (as suggested in the Vic forum) that each SAU State Chapter Committee membership should seriously consider trying to make this event as huge as possible with possible participation by as many Japanese car clubs across the country as can be contacted. Just thought I would throw this out to the ACT forum as food for thought in the hope that exposure of this idea could spark the hearts of all SAU members across the country and fellow visitors to these forums and contribute to a worthy cause. Just an idea that could become a reality Cheers, mick
  17. Count me in for the cruise and hope the weather smartens up. I'll be riding solo in the R34GTT, but cruising along with my two boys (Veilwest and TM7GTR) in the JDM S15. Cruising: Random I Am + Tiger + (1 + another dog) maybe Trozzle MAG86 (maybe) Andrew (Def) Prue (maybe) MIVEC Rig136 turboty + wife (maybe) ZCR + Melly CeJay + 1 (probably) Turismo Veilwest + TM7GTR TiTAN Frink (maybe) Consequence (maybe) Nathan + 1 (maybe) ozcanGTT (mick) Chat or BBQ: J'son nerm Shell + Molly
  18. Yep I saw it there this morning on the way to work Tom. You wouldn't want to leave the car there unattended for too as some bogans will come along and trash it given the opportunity.
  19. Sounds cool, any pics of this new wheel Charles!
  20. That's the first thing I did when I brought my GTT, took off that "ugly" wing and replaced it with the stock GTT wing....looked way better.
  21. Sorry, this is the spotted thread, so,.........spotted a nice black R33 GT-R last Friday arvo on Monaro Hwy and cruised with him south to Tuggers. Quite the beast too, sounded "throaty"
  22. The new toy sounds very nice Terry, and Matt is a lucky bugger to be getting his hands on your R34 GT-R (I am jealous). The boys were very impressed how the R32s were untouchable at Bathurst in 91 and 92. They had a great time at the 21st being around all those JDM Skylines, and very much enjoyed the cruise and want to do another soon. Ben is putting awide body kit on the Silvia, so will look quite different shortly. They (boys) are trying to convince me to sell the GTT and move up to a R34 GT-R (not much convincing required there I'll tell ya)....soon....soon.
  23. Geez Terry, I hope Matt's R33 is not too badly damaged, but I hope the Porsche is
  24. Yeah....NOOOOO!! Uuggly !! When I was a kid they used to deliver small milk bottles to us in Primary school with silver foil bottle caps on the bottles that looked just like those wheels.
