i actually dont mind some commodores, but like skylines waaaaay more. some modifications and your skyline will look tough.

Good to see that the colour that won wasnt metalic pink........black won The bodykit is a top secret kit, but the rims choice isnt that good. They are all 18 inch so at least they wont have 22 inch fully sick chromie dinner plates........

Was the cost of the RB26DETT $6500. If it was, that means you basically have a GTR for only 15K. And if you get a full GTR kit, it would look ,like one too. The only problem with working a GTS-4 is that the money spent you probably won't get back.

Hey, Just thought i would post up a thread for the best looking skylines on SAU, to acknowledge the work put into these beasts. Yeh, i know there are some threads for people to post up pics of their cars, but i thought this could be a thread to showcase the BEST OF THE BEST. R30,R31,R32 etc. Cause i dont know any of your cars, ill start with this.

Yeh thanks, The first one is turbo, although it is a bargain and im in Sydney. The R34 is good value as well, nice paint job too. I think R33's are what i should be looking at becaue they are cheaper. There also seems to be 100's of R33 gtst's on carsales and not as many N/A skylines. The turbo gtst are also the same price, which is really annoying knowing you will be paying the same $$$$ without the performance from a turbo.

Hey. Just to get a rough idea on value for money, id like to now what i shoud do 1) Get an R33 GTS keep it stock besides wheels, exhaust and maybe bodykit, and then once off p plates upgrade to a turbo skyline . 2) Get an R33 GTS with RB25DE and modify with good brakes, suspension, tyres etc(everything besides engine). As well as bodykit and exhaust. later onwards once off p's, turbo the engine or drop in a RB26DETT. Leaving me with great setup, But maybe costly?????????? 3) Just buy an impreza, MR2, Civic etc. then buy GTR......... Just want to know if my second option would be a good one and if it would be worth doing. Thanks

okay that clears things up a bit, As the people i asked about FWD's were either, a bit older or young and stupid. ill have to check out some MX6's and try out the feel of a FWD. As i think galios said earlier "TEST DRIVING IS THE KEY". Sorry about the AE86, They are RWD, i think i just stopped looking at them cause of the age factor, and i can get more modern cars which are just as good, or better, for roughly the same price. I stuggled to find info/stats on the N/A impreza's. What are they like, weight, KW etc.???????? So im probably looking at these few cars at the moment and will soon start testing some out. Hey, thanks for contributions. I have been doing some research and have compilled an exell page of possible cars to buy, with stats and all. My preference is still a R33/R32 GTS but am now looking at MR2, MX5, Impreza's and s14's. And if my money can stretch a bit Supra's and mitsubishi GTO's I also have been talking with some people about FWD cars. They recommended i dont buy one because of traction prolems and oversteer. Therefore i have stopped looking around at cars like the AE86, SSS, MX6 etc. Is it that much different to RWD??????????? On the subject of commodores, i dont really like any of them (too common/ un unique) bar the VT/VX shape. It just sits right and looks good reasonably modified. I agree 100% on mad082's comment on commodres. Also AWD vs RWD skylines??????????? I am Going too start test driving some cars too help me choose the right car. Thanks itstheskills
