  1. New STI is also Susan Boyle ugly.... Looks like a KIA.. Designer should be shot
  2. What a croc of shit Ed Lees are.... Go elsewhere, stay clear!!!!!!
  3. Yea, I'd be wary of genuine K's too (no offence OP). Paint stripped off intake plenum does not represent 41000km's, or had a vented bonnet at 1 stage. Also curious to know what the sticker says on the air box snorkle. Would be in Japanese and represents last air filter change (with km's listed) Also curious, looks like there is a "red" colour marking above the CAS, if that's the case, Timing belt would have been changed? Most mechanics mark the CAS when changing the timing belt (correct me if im wrong). Might be something you do on an 18 yr old car, but at sub 40K?
  4. More RPF1 love on my Vspec :-) 18x10.5 +15 (265x35 tyres)
  5. mine
  6. Hey all Up for sale, set of R34 GTR wheels with Potenza RE-11 tyres (245x40x18). Tyres have 2-3mm of tread, so whilst legal and roadworthy, will need replacing in the next 6 months. I imported my car earlier this year, wheels have only seen driving on Australian roads for 2-3 months. Reason for sale, have purchased other wheels. $1300 Some surface scratches as expected but in overall very good condition. Sutherland Shire (Sydney) location PM me for contact details etc
  7. Does the LED box look like there is room for a battery pack? Could it be part of a Jap spec Alarm system that hasn't been removed?
  8. Lol at the White R34. Import plate is what - Complied 7/2007 ? And it only has 39800 km's on it in 2013. Must have bought it practically brand new in 2007
  9. What are you on about.... The grading I.E 4.5 is the overall condition of the vehicle which takes into account basic mechanical grading. There is a specific grading for Interior and cosmetics in addition to the 4.5, I.E Grade 4.5 A Grade 4 B Grade 3.5 C etc etc
  10. Stock R34 GTR turbos run around 0.8 bar boost with restrictor in. With boost restrictor removed they run about 1 bar. On the ball bearing turbos 1 bar is fine. Problem is, most people think their boosted 'genuine' 60,000km gtr will withstand 1 bar forever... Only to realise the Turbos have done more like '160,000' km's after they go bang.
  11. guaranteed?? You'd want proof to show prospective buyers..... Just sayin....... No offense intended Do you have any emissions test paperwork? DB reading from a licensed test facility?
  12. What about fuel pump?
  13. Thanks for the replies. I was always planning on a Power FC as they can be had for sub $900. Was just curious about the "nismo" package. ECU itself would be pretty rare, if it were "tunable" simliar to a Nistune ROM that would be pretty cool to have on your shopping list. Cheers guys
  14. Hey SAU. There is almost nothing in terms of topics about this type of ECU. From what i know, they were re-mapped ECU's from the Omari factory. But what I don't know is what has been changed to the ECU map. I'd assume slight advance in timing & boost????? Would it be similar to the "Mines" ECU, and would it be any good for an R34 GTR in Aussie climate? I have found a unit from a Vspec II which could be of interest to me (I have a 99 Vpec) Any thoughts??
  15. Hmmmmmm. Well, lets just say, they purchased a MPIII R34 gtr from Japan a few months ago. Had 154000 km's on the clock. There is a thread about this, search "Beware R34gtr" Car is now being sold by Ed Lee's......... with 61000 km's..... Take everything they say with a grain of salt.

    My Evo 7

My old Evo 7, which Jarrad test drove when i had it up for sale :-) Now belongs to a fellow SAU'er
  17. Sunday Oil change :-)
  18. The bleed screw is a hex head bolt near the head correct?
  19. Hey SAU. I have searched and did find a topic on water temps, but it's an old thread from 2009, so I just wanted to start a new one. Details: First time GTR owner, so still getting familiar with the RB26 donk Had timing belt/water pump/ thermostat and coolant flush done when car was in compliance only a week ago. On the weekend I went on a decent drive, about 35-40 mins, and the MFD temp sits on a constant 89-92 degrees under load and sitting in traffic. Oil temps are around 90-92 as well. I went to fill up with some petrol, and after switching off the car for about 5 mins, and then switching the car back on, I noticed both the analogue temp gauge (needle went above half way) and MFD gauge jumped up to over 100 degrees. As soon as I start driving it goes back down to about 90 degrees within a min or 2. After switching the car off, I can feel the top radiator hose boiling and a slight hiss from the radiator cap. Overflow bottle is fine and not bubbling. I haven’t seen/heard the front radiator fan switch on at all (what temp the fan is supposed to cut in?). Clutch fan spins as normal No loss in coolant, and radiator is very clean, no gunk, very clear coolant and no rust/residue. Should I be worried?
  20. I think what he is trying to say is: Economies of scale. E.G 1 million people will drive a camry 10 thousand will drive a modified car. Therfore, on average, more people will be caught speeding in a camry compared to a modified car due to sheer numbers
  21. It's def the same car. In both videos you can see the same white sticker on the bottom right of the rear windscreen. Not to mention the Nismo exhaust and rare colour. How do they get away with it....
