    Fairly self explanatory. R34 GTR intercooler, in good condition - $200 Came off my 34 as i went to a Plazmaman. Photos show condition Note: 34 cooler has the IAT sensor bung. So will suit any R series, but if you don't have IAT sensor you will just need to plug it up. Located Sutherland Shire, Sydney. Can post at your expense

    HKS Super turbo muffler. 85 mm from the cat all the way through. No step downs, quiet and good for 600HP. Not quite 3.5 inch, but close enough... I bought mine from Nengun Japan

    See pic. I re-routed my catch can hose as below. The hose i'm using is standard heater hose rated to 125 degrees. Yes i know it's not the correct hose i should be using. Question is, is it safe in the location I've routed it (circled in yellow). There are what i think are power steering/fuel lines in that location and i'm not sure how hot they get or if i'm putting myself in danger. Please advise before i end up with a car on fire.......     When applying for the policy, they ask you to list all your modifications, so it would certainly be very unfair if they said " your illegal modification" - which you listed and they accepted in the policy caused the accident and therefore is void. In fact, i'd say you would have a legal case you could fight. That said, if there was a modification that was not listed on the policy - you would have no leg to stand on

    HKS 2510 Turbo's with GTX2863 compressor wheels Ok all. So for those of you that have followed the thread below: https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/471347-which-should-i-go-with-gtx2863-2530-or-2860-5/?page=4#comment-7842826 I'll be selling these Turbo's at the end of the month once they are taken off my car. To be transparent, they do not suit a standard RB26 very well. Made the power of a -9, with more lag than a -5. They might be useful for someone who wants to use the cores, re-use the housings or re-work the turbine to suit the GTX wheel. They come with brand new Garrett 15 psi actuators as well. Still on the car, but will be removed at the end of the month. Considering i paid $2500 for them, all i want to do is cover the cost of me putting my GT-SS's back on. 1K, or $500 per turbo if the SR boys take an interest

    I have a HKS tramp stamp. Cost me $5000 for the tattoo. True story. In all honesty, i dunno what i'm gonna do with my frankenturbos when i take them off the car. I will sell them... But it's gonna be a tough sell. Someone may have a use for them, or they can re-use the housings or core for something i spose.

    This would be interesting. Wonder if it would turn out anything like my GTX2863 debacle lol? I suppose they would keep to the same trim/inducer and exducer size rather than going huge comp wheel, but just give it a billet wheel?

    Turbos were rebuilt by a reputable shop in Syd. Won't name names, but when I asked, i specifically said were they going to be laggier than a -9 and they answer was 'no, should be more responsive'.... I am using Garrett 15psi actuators. Tuner had them set to 15psi as i asked. Everything seems airtight, but i'll need to take a closer look.

    Ok..... So the internet winz again. Wasted my time and money. I gained power right up the top of the rev range. Apart from that, i lost power, torque and response pretty much everywhere else. Is laggy too.........

    Isn't a GT-SS rated at 560 ps and the 2510 rated at 600ps though?

    I'm a real life guinea pig putting 2863 GTX wheels into what is essentially a -9 turbo (2510). I'll let you know how much money i wasted on Friday when i get my car back :-)

    I think what most people here are trying to say is R34 N1 (or -7) turbo's do not flow enough to make 400rwkw, even with a 2.8l. They are a 500ps range turbo.

    Too good to be true :-) Well, we should find out by Friday. I've read the whole GTX thread, and most people are using the 2863 CHRA with mixed results. This turbo is not the same, so a little unsure how they will react on my setup. Motor health for me will determine how aggressive final tune can be. I've had a few dud tunes over the past 4 years so trying to be on the cautious side.

    Hoping for your generic -5 power on a standard unbuilt 26 with pump fuel. I.E 340 -350 awkw on around 22 psi. In theory i should have similar to -9 response with -5 power. Depends on how healthy my motor is, and final tune..

    I'm making around 290 awkw on GT-SS. Putting in a set of newly rebuilt HKS 2510 with GTX2863 compressor wheels (not the whole CHRA) this week. I.E, they end up being a 2510 turbine, turbine housing, compressor housing with the GTX wheel. Will report back in the Dyno thread by the end of the week if i wasted my money or not :-)

    Wow. just wow... If a "reputable Skyline tuner" says blow through MAF, i'd take a guess and say it's not so reputable lol... English aside.... My guess is they mean "tune using a Map based ECU" so you don't need AFM's. You do realize on a RB26 the BOV's (yes, there are 2) are under the front right hand guard/bumper. I doubt anyone's changed them. Does is go pshhhh, or sound like the Fast n Furious Exhaust in cabin (not fuel smell) could be a leaky exhaust or gasket, aging rubber seals letting fumes into cabin.. or is it a burnt oil smell?
