Thanks. So I try the sougi m5000 and change the oil every maybe 500km just to get the old stuff out and after constant changes hopefully its clean enough and ready for some good oil? Wheres a good place to buy the oil? Redline or the Motul probably. Seen motul 8100 for $79 at autobahn i think, but just thought there may be a cheaper place to buy oil from that i don't know about yet. 10-40 still ok for 120k km's? had 7.5-30 and no leaks at all. Starts up in the cold very easy no problems. Cars just used for street. No track.

Its almost first service time for my gts-t. The last owners always used Nissan oils and filters. 7.5-30 SL. Car runs nicely although I would still like to know what a quality synthetic makes it run like. Now the car is currently at 118,500km. Have read that the Motul 8100 is used in alot of the gtst's and from the last couple of pages the redline oil seems to be highly recomended to. I also read another post saying one guy went from normal oil to fully synthetic and the synthetic removed all his sludge causing a lifter to block. So i guess I should get an engine oil flush to? Is any brand flush ok? (nulon maybe) I just want to get this done right the first time without problems. So what im asking recomendations for is - a good oil for my 120k km service - Should i flush engine oil? If so what with. - Ryco or nissan filter or is there something better

JB can do good low prices but there installs arnt the best. Known a couple of mates cars installs that had speakers held in by one screw . We were wondering what the rattling noise was and took it apart and there was 3 cars done like that. FreewayCarAudio Dandenongs a very good place to go. Bit more expensive but way worth it.

If its just oil change u want any mechanic can do that. Just watch them pour your oil in though if u dont trust them lol. I'm just curious on what RE charges because they seem to be known as one of the best in the area, would be nice knowing my cars in good hands .

Would also like a recomended place to get mine serviced to. Anyone know what RE charges for basic service? I dont want to try service my car myself rather have a profesional do it.

The Announcer guy at the dyno said that black gtr was a "circuit tuned track car" and not at its fullest potential for power. He said his highest recorded was 350 but on the day from memory it got something like 295 299 310kw between the 3 runs.
-
Wasnt too bad. Although some cars in the parking lot looked better than a couple of the competitors. Was a couple really simple cars with nothing but rims and suspension. Saw the black civic get 96kw, black 32 gtr 310kw at all 4, white civic 141kw and blue s15 get 191kw. this was around 2-3:30. Guess i missed the real good ones

oh haha thats ok then. The guy sounded like he didnt know what he was doing. Just making sure it all still works properly as an r31

I tried to register my skyline with my breeze pass and the person I was talking to didn't know what a nissan skyline gts-t was. I told him its a Nissan Skyline 1996 model and he said the only skyline in their system is a 1986 model. He then asked if its a Nissan 200sx and i said no its a Nissan Skyline. Then he said am i sure its 1996? I said yes its a 1996 model. My skylines now registered as a Nissan Skyline 1986 on my tag Has anyone else had any problems adding their skyline to there breeze pass?
-
Oh OK. Only just recently bought the car wasn't sure if this was normal or not. All good now thanks
-
Maybe a stupid question but when I turn my key but don't turn the ignition on my engine and oil lights are on. After i start the car they turn off. Is this normal? I've checked my oil levels and its fine. Car drives perfectly still.

I was on my way home from work and came upto a set of traffic lights and one started to clean my window with his spray bottle (daily juice bottle with a hole in the lid) and his sponge (almost black tea towel) and lifted my wipers and kept cleaning. He then finished and came upto my open window with his hand out and I told him I have no change. He didnt leave and just stood there with his hand out and said cmonnn mannn not even a couple dollars? I said I have no money. Then the lights turned green and i started to drive off slowly due to peak hour traffic and I thought he spotted my change pile in my little tray and he held onto my side mirror and ran along side my car he held on for a good 15 meters across the intersection and was yelling stop! stop! i kept driving and he let go but then I had to stop because of traffic and he came running up to my car leaned over my bonnet and put down one of the window wipers he left up and walked away XD

Still looking for one. Prefer one with RWC. under 10k.

Sounds good. DD make some nice quality subs. You should be happy with the bass once its all setup.
-
R34 -_- Are you trying to say a sealed box is louder than ported? Also you do know a head unit which once cost $700 will end up costing around $200 rrp the next year. So its upto you if you want to spend the extra for no reason or buy the expensive and regret it once the price drops massively. Uhhh i thought u said sealed better? 08yannch, The type R's are a nice sub for the price. You wont be disappointed by it as long as your amp can give it enough power.

Im Trying To Find A Good R33 Non Turbo
S4LVA replied to OMGR33's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
Yeh its just your first car. Non turbo, just something to get around in really. Once your off your p's then you should buy a car youll want to spend money on. Youll get the urge to spend all your cash on your first car, Rims sound system exhaust etc but most of us end up regretting spending too much on our first cars and wishing we could have it back for our next one But it'll be your car and all upto you what you do with it. But you got the right idea getting the gtr after Im still looking for my skyline, theres not many in good condition for sale -
Im Trying To Find A Good R33 Non Turbo
S4LVA replied to OMGR33's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
May aswell get any skyline that works to drive on your p's then once you got your full licence and you still want a turbo car get the gts-t. Or by then maybe GT-T. Cant just throw a massive turbo in it. Theres other parts needed to thatll probably end up costing more than the gts-t. If your after a fast car for your p's and spending about 11k maybe take a look at a n/a supra if you like them. there almost as quick as a gts-t. -
Little bit out of my range at the moment

Still on the lookout for a r33 gts-t
