This is the first private car I am buying. Now the car drives well and all but i'd still like to know what im buying. Was there any companies that offer a vehicle check including compression testing and other examinations? I took a look at racv and it seems they just take a look at the externals of the car which isn't really much help.

Hey i've found a 93 gts-t I like. It drives well and all. I just had some concerns though. It has 155,000km on it. How many km is expected of this engine and transmission? Being driven how most skylines are expected to be driven. Not sure what word to use. Maybe "quick" but not mistreated and redlined every gear change lol. Its all stock, Just a front mount, short shift and exhaust fitted.

haha I've gone and taken a look at 5 close to stock ones from car sales. Found 2 i like but they each had there own small problems. Owners have said they will fix it and give me a call. But would like to have more options during the waiting time

Ported will always be boomier than sealed. head units these days are all good enough to give you more than decent sound. You wont notice much of a difference in sound when comparing a $140 one to a $700 one.

the type r alpine sub is probably the best one from there. Was this all from jb? You can haggle the price down if it was. maybe get $30-40 off each

Building a box like that may not have the optimal air space for the sub. With a budget of $550 there isn't much choice youll be looking at something like a 10" 2ohm mb-quart,polk rockford fosgate low range sub (around $130) and as for the amp you may have to get a 2 channel amp because a decent 500w+ mono will porbably be out of the price range. plus the box will cost around $40 in supplies. honestly though with most of the low range cheaper subs you wont really notice much of a difference in sound but its still good to stick to the better brands just for peace of mind.

a reasonable brand 600w mono amp should do for your type-s. But if you can, id suggest you get something around 1000w and run it around 400w so your not stressing the amp so much plus you can always upgrade your sub in the future and the amp will still be able to handle the new one giving that its only a little bit more powerfull.

I'm sort of leaning towards a stock series 2 for around 9500 or series 1 for 8500. thanks for the offers so far Oh and no offence but my current car is maroone which i am sick of the colour so i would like any other colour, pref Black,silver,white

Hello. I'm looking for a clean r33 gts-t, In the Vic area, im from the S.E suburbs. I'd prefer stock or close to stock as it is my first turbo car. If anyone has something clean for sale or knows of someone just let me know. Also with the m-spec i have noticed they all have n/a as there roadworthy status, Why is this? are they not alloud on vic roads or are the ones i have seen just in bad shape? I have taken a look through lots of the for sale posts but most are modified. I would buy a nicely modified car but have heard epa likes to pick on skyline drivers and would like to make sure my modifications are done correct and i keep the stock parts for when a roadworthy has to be redone if it was to happen. If anyone has a different idea or opinion just let me know
