Hey all, i recently put an rb25 in my 32, after stuffing around with the wiring i gave up and bought a microtech lt12s with handcontroller and wired it all up, the previous owner was making 350kw off the tune thats on it but had bigger inj, ect, first start it ran rough as and blew a butt load of black smoke, the overall fuel trim was set at -25, i raised it till it idled smoothly ending up at +35%, after i had it running fine i drove it home (did the work at a mates house because he had a shed) when i got home i scrolled threw the controller and saw that the Timing Lock was set to on, i remember reading the microtech site and it said DO NOT REV THE ENGINE WHILE TIMING LOCK IS ON, so now im worried have i done damage??? when i drove it home i babied it, had it set to 6psi and didnt go past 6k revs, as i defently need a tune. Also, anyone know any good microtech tuners in qld? cheers.

haha yea well i thought that but after my old engine putting a rod threw the block i can just keep picturing it happing to my new engine lol, the dent is roughly 25 to 30 mil deep

Hi all , i recently put an rb25 in my 32 and after putting it in i realised the sump has a fair sized dint where the oil pickup is, im getting plenty on oil preasure acording to my dash but is it posible to have preasure and no flow? i will end up taking it off and fixing it but in the mean time i dont wont it to root my engine. cheers.

yea i think im going to go with a 25, so much easyer to get alot of power out of, there around 1500 from japan autos in brissy

or i could just buy a rb25 for 1500?

thanks for that info mafia but before i bought the 20 i looked at the hybrid build and thought it would cost too much, i might look at doing it again but i just love the way a rb20 revs, cant beat the sound of it reving to 8500 lol, im an apprentice mechanic so the build would be covered, my gearbox is on its way out, second gear syncro is grinding, so a box replacement will be done anyways

yea i did go threw about 12 pages of it but its so mixed its hard too tell, some ppl are making 220kw with stock everything and more boost and some are only making the same with a forged engine 600cc injectors, computer, 044 pump, ect i was making 190kw with my mods already till it poped but that was due to me turning the skyline into a boat... long story haha.. thanks for the help though bro

keep the 25 turbo on it or upgrade?

hi all, i recently put a rod threw the block of my 32 ive bought another rb20 and striped it down to replace the bearings and get the bottom end balance, im wanting to make around 225kw current mods are fmic 25 turbo electonic boost controler 3inch dump and full 3inch zorst ive got 3grand to play with, id be happy to make 300hp with that cash, could u list the upgrades ile need please, thanks =)

i recently spun a bearing and put a viewing hole in the block in my r32 with a rb20det, i decided to make a hybrid instead of just wacking another rb20 back in, ive been reading alot on the 25/30 conversion and a few people said its posible to use a 20 head as in the only difference is the ports, but then some people says that the head wont fit, any ideas??? thanks.

hi all recently i cant change into second if my revs are too high or im going too fast, is this a synco issue? or is it somthing to do with the new clutch? it wasnt as bad befor my new clutch, ive gone from a twin plate to a HD single, its a r32 with a rb20
