  1. noise should of gone away by now if it was the lifters, cant really tell without hearing it myself though
  2. No offence against the tuner at all, over time engines sometimes change and the tune might need some more or less fuel from 0% tps
  3. Possible tune related, seen it plently of times.
  4. yeah brand new lifters if they havnt soaked them in dex or somthing simlar for a few hours before fitting take awhile before they will stop tapping, it happened too me on a hilux, took 4 hours @ idle for it too stop.
  5. Id say make sure your tappet covers are tight to start with, or even replace the gaskets, what probly happened is that with the excess heat the old rubber gaskets have gone too soft and let some oil past them. Its happened on mine. Also sounds like you have a blocked cat or close too it.

  7. thats what im going for 1000cc injectors, 300lt/h pump probly hypergears ss2 or g3 turbo and see what happens and Ile start the thread once i have all the parts ready to bolt on
  8. haha awesome! im aiming for 300kw for my drift build, currently only 200kw, it spins 3rd alright but on the straights i cant pull 4th without it dieing Any build threads interesting ile probly make one after im finished doing everything, but i do plan on keeping the stock manifolds

  10. It was related too a comment made... Sorry mate I no longer work at the place anymore, it was on a patrol, we got the GTX30/76 back in October, took off the GT30/76 that was on our test truck and put the GTX on, from 4000 it started at 20kw, @ 5500 before the power died it was only around 12kw gain, for a 1500$ turbo it wasnt worth the gain, it was worth adding meth injection instead of the GTX. Though from a factory upgrade id go a GTX.

Went straight in without a problem, think i had too swap some rubber from the 32 one to the 33 one, you shouldnt have too pay anymore then 1500-1650 for an engine, all up it cost me 1800$ that includes RB25 S2 80k kms set of spark plugs fuel filter r33 throttle cable oil i used the 33 loom and ecu, then decided too buy a microtech and made a new loom so that added 1500 more too it haha
  12. ive seen a 20kw gain starting @ 4000rpm from GT to GTX, although the GTX was running 2psi more boost.
  13. easy as swap, started it sat morning and had it running 10pm sat night, also u need the r33 throttle cable, 32 one is too short =)

  18. Im not saying they dont know what there talking about, im sure there internet knowledge on cars is great, but the real world is sometimes alot different, constructive criticism is one thing, but saying a monkey welded it is another.
  19. id say get 2 20lt drums and put both in your fuel tank, i wouldnt buy e85 from the pump, only the drums, i assume it would be simlar gains too straight E85 but not as much, would also require less fuel then straight E85
  20. 6boost manifolds are not a bargin, ive personally seen them perform worse then the stock manifold, the only thing that looks "cheap" is the collector, 6boost dont make theres, also they sell them seperate, so why dont you cut off there collector, weld a 6boost style one on it and still save 800$

Are and Have are two different things and no doubt they experienced it first hand how much of a bitch it is too weld, then come on here and say "your welds are shit" meanwhile there diegrinding there f**ked up welds, im not telling anyone YOU HAVE TO BUY IT, just saying for the price the quality is perfect. 1200$ for a 6boost manifold is a joke, if it was 600-700$ it would be worth it, till then ile stick with a cheaper manifold that will produce the exact same result for 900$ less.
