yea thats the beauty of the next gen consoles with online access the creators can just change the game however they like by releasing patches/expansions via dlc and essentially everyone has access to it. rather than back in ps2 days when you bought a new game and that was that
-
yea it does get fkn repetitive doing the same races all the time. does anyone know if you get xp for online races? that would at least help a little bit
-
+1 lol 40kw from an air filter on a stock engine. thats optimism if ever i saw it!
-
its funny how forza fanboys such as this guy seem to be more interested in trying to pick apart GT5 than actually playing their precious forza. whatever makes you feel a little better about the forza series being owned several times over in sales bro..

lol yeah, i've said it before and i'll say it again, the low-level b spec drivers are mentally retarded. when we a-spec, we usually late brake into corners taking the inside and forcing the opponent out wide. the b-spec drivers do start making more heroic moves like this and pull way better times at higher levels, my best driver is level 24 atm and he's pretty awesome, although i can still get better times myself.

Nissan Skyline R32 Gtr Questions
Spurdo replied to olloSKYLINEollo's topic in General Automotive Discussion
as far as i know, the bottom lip came black from the factory. all the ones i've seen in body colour have been painted after. the side indicators, i got a little confused when i first saw pictures of these too. here in nz no r32s have these, yet most australian r32s i've seen do have them. so i'm assuming its ozzi compliance regulations that put them there. too late at night for me to dig deep enough in my brain to answer everything else lol -
theres an entire thread dedicated to this stickied in the suspension wheel and brake section. you'd have to get pretty stretched tyres on the back, and the fronts you'd really need wide guards
-
yeah 10psi is ok but i wouldnt go anywhere over that without a tune
-
nice. relatively stock, looks clean and tidy, no silly mods. bonus that the engines had a rebuild. make sure you obtain the receipts for future reference if you buy it. looks like it just needs a tune and it'll be heaps of fun oh and i just realised the seller listed it as "BNR32 GTS4" this is incorrect. BNR32 is only GTR. this is not a GTR it should be HNR32

easy street you say? i dont think so.. why would there be any less button pressing? and dont tell me your going to be a douche and put a le mans car or something into an endurance race full of stock jap street cars, wheres the fun in that? the first endurance race only gets ur xp about halfway thru level 25 meaning you either do it again, or re-do the other races over and over and over..
-
k whats real annoying is doing the amg driving academy, nurburgring in the rain, getting within .1 of a second of gold on the first attempt, then taking 50 attempts to better that time. grrr
-
im all raced out tonight lol. just did both the a-spec and b-spec grand valley endurance
-
highlighted parts above are incorrect. i realised what race you were actually talking about a day or so ago. its not in the muscle car series at all like you said. thats what had me wondering wtf u were talking about lol. its in the american series in the extreme events section. bottom left, next to the formula series. yes its 3:45 per race, 98k each. ford gt lm works a treat. and how awesome is this, i'm most the way through the first endurance race at grand valley. on lap 45 i switched to cockpit view and noticed even on the straights the driver is holding the wheel at about 2 o'clock. now i would assume this is cos the cars had a few minor collisions with opponents, walls etc and its put the alignment out. now i've just pitted and changed driver and its back to normal? what gives? im thinking maybe it resets mechanical damage on pit stops?
-
ahh yeah good call. i forgot that photo mode doesnt capture the HUD and all that. im not sure about the print screen thing with the keyboard, i wouldn't expect it to work as i think thats just a windows thing?? when you check the online rankings can you look up a particular user? if so that would be the way to do it, someone posts up their time and another forum member verifies it by looking it up? i'd check but cbf
-
gt5 almost needs its own whole sub-section within the games forum if we're guna start doing superlap time battles lol now theres an idea.. howabout we just make it superlap at tsukuba circuit. just like the real thing. jap street cars only, unlimited mods. screenshot showing lap time or it didnt happen
-
only way to keep it 100% clean would be to have organised races online then you can moderate
-
saturday. 2:37am my a-spec and b-spec just clicked onto level 25. yuss. now off to bed. endurance time tomorrow who needs RL
-
i have a b-spec driver called B.George. i like to think he's Boy George just a shame you cant name them yourself

Crunching In Second, Hard To Shift When Cold
Spurdo replied to kma's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
just the way it goes sometimes. it is odd though, the synchro mesh on 5th doesnt usually get anywhere near the thrashing that 2nd-3rd-4th does. although i used to have the same issue but it turned out my clutch fluid just needed to be bled, lol. not sure why it only affected 5th. just change the box oil to redline shockproof, see if that helps -
yea.. they are insanely expensive for not much space. it'll be awesome when they come down in price

because of ps3's capabilities being so many lightyears ahead of ps1/ps2 its now way easier to drive consistently and keep a smooth racing line. the test's themselves haven't got easier, but you are able to control the car far more accurately now even with the standard controller, thus making sightly easier to get fast times. anyone else noticed this? if your not sure what i mean, throw gt4 in and have a go just for a laugh. in basically any car, the moment you hint the car in either direction, it gives the car an aggressive "jerk" in that direction even though such an aggressive movement isn't what you were after. the way it responds is just not realistic like it is in gt5. in gt5 the initial steering responds far more like how it would be done in real life
-
i dont get it.. gt5 graphics are insane.. and yea the "grand finale" ending movie was a big let down.. was just extended credits.. lame
-
agreed. i saw on some talk show once (maybe dr phil or something like that) theres shitloads of people in america who play these games so religiously they neglect their children/marriages/jobs/careers and it messes their whole lives up. they were making support groups for people with addictions to FB games. ffs some people should have been put down at birth
