  1. the fronts are the same, but rears are different, the rears top hats are smaller and the bolts are only 8cm apart, i can post up specs when i grab my spare suspension so people can compare them to whatever coilovers they want. also i dont know how 8kg and 6kg will go. 6kg might be a bit soft for the heavy ass. i run 13kg front and 9kg rears
  2. if its r33, do the pressure release trick with the green cable under your driver side kick panel. pull green plug, turn car on and in the first 10 seconds push brake 5 times and your 4wd light flashes. you are now in rwd mode
  3. sorry guys, forgot the VCT vs CAS, got mixed up, my bad. but i did find one thread where i first looked into. here you go http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/322815-putting-aftermarket-rb26-cams-into-rb25-head/
  4. sorry, was supposed to say aftermarket rb26 cams. but didnt the rb26 have VCT same as the 25's, was a different type of VCT, but could still use same sensor correct? all i know is ive fitted them onto a bare rb25 neo head to see if they fit and they did. then put the rb25 cams onto the 26 and they did fit too. im also sure ive seen a thread somewhere (dont know if it was here or some other forum) about someone running 26 cams in their Neo
  5. everyone needs to stop bitching and get your asses down to WSID haha. i wonder how long my clutch will hold doing 5krpm dumps
  6. im so in!
  7. how much is the run?
  8. screw you guys! i had like 8 of those when i went to the wreckers and took them out of the half cuts!!! i used them all for some fun. i could have been 800 bucks richer!!!!!!!
  9. neo have solid lifters, thats why most people run rb26 cams
  10. nah, dont care for the front of yet, just trying to sort out the ass. im having heaps of trouble finding decent offset rims, so im getting custom steelies made
  11. fair call, my stagea is literally dropped on its ass so i run around -2deg camber plus im trying to get the lip out of the guards by about 1cm so might go 17x9 +5?
  12. i have same rolling diameter all round, 17" gtt fronts and rears but want to replace the rears so i dont need to use the spacers. im going to opt for deep dish steelies 17x9 i just need to know the best offset. as 16x8 +30 doesnt fit and 17x7.5 +38 didnt fit. i did try 17x8 with a +0 and that filled the guards very well just thought that 8j is too thin for my liking plus they were only lend rims. so yours is a rs4s?
  13. ok guys, this is a killer for me. im trying to fins some rims that fit the rears of my RS4S, since the stock r34gtt rims wont fit without 20mm spacers, and the r32gtr rims have the same story. one is 7.5 +38 for the gtt rims and the 32gtr are 8 with +30 offset. i found some nice rims im trying to get which are 17x9, and im wondering what the best offset for the rears will be i can get them from -25 to +15 in 5mm intervals. is -25 too much? when i ran the r34gtt rims with my 30mm spacer, i still had another 3cm to fill in the guards on the outside of the rim. at the moment im just in need for some rear rims.
  14. lost a wheel, but since i was running spacers, which they clearly saw. (as the r34 gtt rims wont clear my suspension due to such a shitty offset) they threaded the nuts, and 3 of my bolts. so when i was driving the rest kind of undid themselves during my 3 hr drive, and when i hit 70kmh, i heard a rattle then my center cap with all 5 bolts flew out, and my rim incl tire followed........ luckily since i sacked my car and the rim was in the arches, it never fully dislodged, and just hung on by about 1-2mm on the bolts, giving me just enough time to pull over. i then called them they came down and told me they didnt want to cover me because i had spacers on...... so the guy saw my shredded tire and told me he will be a good fellow and give me a new tyre the next day........ for the low fee of $50... i bought the tire brand new for $85!!! so i will go there on monday and really turn his neck 180 degrees! So note to self, never ever go to St George Tires.
  15. haha i was assuming we all had sunburns on our necks not just me now squeal for me boiii, squeal like a pig!
  16. p.s: V35? GTFO this is stagea territory right here boy! us rednecks dont take kindly to your kind
  17. well since i got my tire changed yesterday and the dicks there threaded my bolts, my rim decided to say goodbye to my car and rolled away while driving....... so now i dont have rims on the rear. but i get to sit down in my awesome rear seats! so its all good.
  18. should be, i have the r33 service and rebuild manuals, and none ever had a top push button
  19. It's so amazing! It's standard on the c34 as well, but I didn't find out till today. After owning the car for 2 years! I sat in the back and I felt like a butt raped squirrell sitting that straight. So I pulled the lever while sitting and it went back! Boy was I amazed!
  20. Haha, I'm in the same boat, exact same problem. Torn boot and just noticed. If anyone has a 2nd one after he gets one. Let me know
  21. You mean you have an aftermarket one and want to replace it with a stock one? In which case, I'm pretty sure yes. Plus you could always try it out. Your car won't blow up
  22. Ok guys, I couldn't search to see if this has been covered before or not since I was on my iPhone, but this blew my mind...... The rear seats on my c34 stagea are adjustable!!!!!! Adjustable rear seats = mind blown. Does anyone on here want to drive my car so I can sit in the rear seats?! This just blew my mind! That is all, now go on about your day as if nothing has happened....
  23. spotted white c34 s2 yesterday turning from broad arrow road onto forest road peakhurst, sounded pretty nice too.
  24. on sun, at cronulla, i spotted a yellow c34 s2 with days kit, i even got a picture of it, looks nice might be who i think it is?
  25. so if it has a gtst gearbox its not unique in any way...... its just a r33 4 door turbo, that means you even removed the "unique" awd feature..... jsut a waste of time and money, buy a r33 gtst. less weight same power if it had the stagea rb25 and gtr box mounted, then it would be more unique. you could have a 4 door AWD turbo r33.
