hey all, chasing a coil loom for my rb25det NEO engine, i broke on plug so now its got a bit of a missfire here and there, really pissy, so if anyone has one floating around, just let me know
-
did you use the wrong bulbs in them???? also depending on the headlights, xenon or non xenon, prices vary, somewhere from 100-1k (1k being brand new)
-
not without modding it, its too short and i doubt the hangers on the rear muffler will fit, if anything, the r33 system should be a closer fit, its the longest skyline created or wheelbase length, forgot what one
-
it would run rich, not by an abnormal margin, but a little, from what i remember doing on my older fuel injected cars, when putting a couple bigger injectors in, i ran the fuel pressure a bit lower so if 3 bar, i ran them at 2.8bar. car ran fine, and when taken apart, it was in perfect condition, but never got it tuned to know exactly what was going on. but this was from 240cc-> 320cc injectors

i got work till 12, so ill get there round 1ish or 2, depending on traffic.

dont need to go for your car, its a great event, lots of people, great pictures, chicks, prizes, some sponsors and other stuff, this time its a mixed meeting so lots of stuff to see
-
dont remember the size of the r33 injectors, but from what i remember the s1 and s2 injectors were the same, both side feed. or get some s15 injectors if you want extra headroom only the rb26 and rb25 neo had the top feed injectors

hey guys, this is killing me, i didnt do my research before getting the parts so i might have messed stuff up, but im trying to put r34 rb25det man box onto the rb26 engine, ive run a rb26 flywheel, exedy heavy duty clutch for rb25 box, bolted that all together, centered/ aligned it. and the box still wont fit on properly. are any of the parts not interchangeable? or is there a secret way of putting that box on??? i can take it off easily but putting it on, is an absolute nightmare. any help is appreciated. P.s, that gearbox was on the car before, but when we got the engine rebuilt, the mechanic decided to steal all our money for the car and give us, literally every single piece of that entire engine in a box and dumped it outside, so i have been slowly rebuilding that engine ever since. half the stuff was missing too, incl the flywheel and clutch, which we bought brand new and spent 2k on, he just kept and fked off!!!! hence why i need to know if the clutch flywheel setup fits into that box. cheers Jean

i had a problem just like that, i took the whole window switch thing out and took the top of it off, incl all the switches, then i used a screwdriver to move the switches while i plugged the board back in. then it started working again, this was a while ago, so im not too sure what exactly happened, this was around midnight after my switches stopped working and i was out in the dark trying to get my window back up

no, i was just thinking if you do all the same stuff to a GTR with say less than 30,000km on the clock car alone should be 70k+ then the extensive body work, acid bath, painting, interior rebuild, (dont know if the body got any stiffening), then all the engine mods, drivetrain mods, sourcing all those parts, labor, time and effort, i do think it should cost around the 200K. even though it is not original signed off by nismo, but its built the way it is in every aspect, it would still count as a z tune in one way or another. to me at least. if i had that exact same car, brand new from factory AND original from NISMO, i think people would spend 300k+ thats just my thought.

if you have a new catalytic converter it can also smell a bit like that.

I Need Some Help On An R34 Rb25Det
Bronx replied to RedBeans's topic in General Automotive Discussion
in regards to your engine, it seems to be a r33 engine from the looks, the r33 had that coil cover saying twin cam 2500, while the r34 had a pure black one, also the r34 oil cap is different. sits higher up to fit into the engine cover. also the r34 as you know have the top feed injectors. unless someone changed all those things on a r34 engine, id be very confused. as to some of your wires, i will have a look on my engine tomorrow/dash tomorrow. but mine is a manual so i might have a few cables less than yours. (yours looks like it has the extra auto cables but not 100% sure) -
well, its brand new, 0km's besides the chassi i guess. its not too bad. if you had the same equivalent new from nismo just built, i think it would still cost more or fetch a higher price. especially imports, shipping, rego etc. replica or not, it would still be the exact same car if same parts are used, whether built by nismo or by these guys. only thing i dont get in this entire ad is this : Be the first to own a 2011 Japo Spec I R34 GTR Z-Tune Replica in Australia. This R34 was completely stripped down and then rebuilt with all new NISMO Z-Tune parts making it better than the original Z-Tunes. how can a exact replica be better then the original???

oh, that car, yeh, very clean looking car, i think i might have a couple of pictures of it as well., i was there with my stagea, a black s15, 2 honda civic, one of them was very VERY clean, and also with my mates mx5, the little red on on the stretched steelies. took us forever to get the fitment right on that mx5
-
haha, well i will be there all the time now with my stagea. what s14 were you with??? i saw most s14's there. series 1 or series 2?
-
i saw you right at the end when i left, i was the guy with the mario cap on, went to yours as well, but i had no clue who was there either. haha, guess when i was at yours you were at mine

spotted s2 silver round 3ish in brighton (NSW) at a fishing spot
-
wow, thats a blooody hefty price for any of those items!!!!! that cant be a serious price, right???
-
the jjr one i bought from just jap, is slightly too close on the underside of my car and would hit the chassi when first starting. but yes the r33 and r34 dumps are the same. (had the jjr r34 dump and now am running a r33 split dump, i say stay with the bellmouth)

hmmm, fair fair, my bad, last time i checked it looked like there was just 7 imprint on them but then again i didnt take notice of it since it came with tyres.

in my c34 i run that ethanol mix crap, that so called e10 91+, car works fine, only get about 370-400km on a tank but then again i drive pretty heavy. i have run 95, 98 and once 100 octane, all feels the same crap, on e10 no problems of missfiring, no smoke, no running rough, all works perfectly. if i run unleaded 91 no ethanol, it feels a bit choppy to drive though.
