Absolutely Confusing.... But Its Here
Bronx replied to Bronx's topic in General Automotive Discussion
ive been at 330 in a lambo diablo. my uncle in germany is a prestige car dealer, does all crap like lambo and ferarri etc. been in alot of cars, (never driver though) and since we have the autobahn, we have a bit more fun. that was def over the 200 mark by a long shot. but no gps speedo = not real -

hmmm, seems plausible. the car is heavy enough to keep it down, use the golf and you will go airborne. one gust of wind and your dead. even though the video didnt seem too fast. maybe 300 tops. but then again........ all the videos in here are pretty rad -

that will be of use here, everyone needs a 4wd. but i do wonder what the top speed of them are. i doubt they would go over 280kmh still pretty cool seeing a big 4L patrol fly up a hill with 1500hp -
go to www.cafepress.com.au or search under google for custom clothing, or even ebay design trucker caps etc. there is alot of different sites where you can custom create your own stuff. cafepress is where i get all my stuff done

yeah, seen that one before, there is also one out there somewhere with a nissan patrol puttin gout 1500hp i think, its a sand hill climb. guess thats a class on its own though we should have a thread entitled "crazy youtube videos", thread for cars and a thread for just random crap. -

if you ever want to see a really nicely built car, look up "VW RSi Dahlback" or some other crazy tuned Audi s2's -
since im a bit of a vw nutcase, i thought this might be of some sort of interest to some of you. this guy too it serious when someone said lighter car and powerful engine=fun and good for track. this thing weights in at about 700ish kg. oh and it wont get past 9 secs since its too light and its a bit aerodynamically challenged. does use 4motion haldex system though

agreed, forgot to mention that. more torque the better

how big is turbo etc, want a decent driveable car, look at the average performance car out there, holden r8's ford gt's etc, looking in the 300-350kw, since you wish track, go for about 400kw, nice number, not insane, not low, just nice. i would say max out your car at 350kw with small turbos, less lag no problems. one thing that drags down turbos, is the turbo lag. but thats only on street driving, since your tracking your car i doubt you will run below 4k rpm, so get ur turbo to kick in around that. but its all user pref. from my view i would say a max of 500-550hp. close to v8 supercars and close to most other circuit cars

R34 Gtt Or R33 Gtst Series 2
Bronx replied to Pottsy12's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
r34, a r33 in my books is not a real skyline, just a mangled ugly UFO car, which just somehow managed to crash into the Nissan factory, and steal a rb25/20 engine to blend in. Neo is more responsive and also feel smoother. + the usual, less fuel less co2 etc etc. also a r34 is absolutely sexy. -
NA cars are only there for the biggest revheads who have $$$ or motorsport. NA would mostly be used in motor sport for class restrictions as a forced induction would make you play with the big boys. but still, it would be fun building a nice NA car, but unless you have a spare 30k for a proper engien setup, id say no. my dad built his own beetle when he was an apprentice, the old 1000cc bug, he raised compression only and used harder springs, he was pushing 140bhp with a comp ratio of 13.5:1. a nice NA car would be a TNT King Viper. But actually, i remember a guy a couple fo years back, who had alot of cash, back in germany on the forums , who modified his golf mk2 16v engine, he removed of his cams and replaced it with electronic lifters, rebuilt his head to run 14:1 compression and whole heap more, he managed to pull out a max of 340hp. i guess the best NA car out there, ever to be built, are M-Power cars, if you want to go all out a e30 m3 would be the best, cant beat that. or if you have lots of cash and no worries, buy a M1 im currently building a mk2 golf, with a bit of NA tuning and hoping to hit the 180-200hp

belive it or not, the pulse plugs have alot more bang than you expect.

yeah, that chart helps a bit, but even with ngk's ive had problems with 1.1mm gaps. i always run .8mm gaps or .6mm gaps where its specified, always worked great, hard to install anything wrong on any of the products i think its pretty simple, screw out, screw in put pack on, screw pack on and final step, plug it in hehe. but like said, i highly doubt its the coils in any way, i just think the sparks werent the right heat setting to begin with. both worked perfectly at first, but after a while of running really hot they would missfire. bought some basic NGK's now, 5 bucks a pop, and they seem to do the job. 0.8mm gapped too. but a decent power loss i must say.

ok, cool, thx for clearing that up. and why does this forum not have a thanks or thumbs up button for users who help!!!!!!!!

not to hijack the thread, but whats the max boost the NEO turbos hold??? (average), hear that above 14psi they tend to fly apart veery quickly, so alot of people say run at 10psi max. i dont know, i never tried and i am very curious to find out though. or should one just upgrade the wastegate? hks or aftermarket spring to about 12psi? would eb pretty cheap, around 30-140 bucks depending on wastegate or spring
