My Stagea Through To The Nissan Idol Final
Bronx replied to DeanR33's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
voted for yours, yours does look the best, but some of the 350z's and the r32gtr arent far behind, the s14 looks decent, but the body kit on it is a bit overkill, good luck with yours -
Who Would Want A 300/320k/hr Speedo
Bronx replied to darrinspencer's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
from what i remember, its just a pull, thats it. -
ah, well thats cool then, i wont worry about a new manifold untill after my rebuild. so i guess ill get to buy something else first.

hello, was doing some searching about exhaust manifolds on here, but got nothing i wanted to find. my question is, im looking at replacing my original rb25det turbo manifold fomr the NEO engine, since i want to keep original dump pipe etc, what manifold do i need??? my guess is low mount manifold, but will it all sit back the way it was???? im just looking at a bit better spool up and ive seen a couple of different manifolds which im interested in, just waiting to hear on the length of each cylinder pipe. i will calculate what manifold is better for low down rpm. so is the low manifold designed to keep stock stuff on??? i just dont want to sell my new downpipe to get one that fits the new manifold. thanks Jean

oh, also if your after some dials, this bloke makes custom dials: THe Dials man -
hey all, i tried searching for some advice on this, but nothing found. trying to get some larger injectors for the rb25det neo, and been loking at some sylvia s15 injectors, dont want to spend oh so very much cash, im just looking at pulling out about 300kw. from what ive read, the neo injectors are about 250cc and the s15 injectors are 480cc. so im opting for them, found some new ones from overseas a set of 6 individually bought ones will set me back 300 bucks. some people have told me they will fit straight on, but im not 100% sure. anyone know???? cheers Jean

Active Lsd Light On Constantly
Bronx replied to scottyturbo's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
only guess is, its constantly on. not quite sure how the a-lsd works in skylines, but in alot of other cars it has its own pump, to pump in oil to activate the lsd. either that pump is ocnstantly on or it is constantly broken, if any of the 2, locate that pump and test it with voltage meter. thats the best i have -
does this depend on what state your in????? because in nsw, my mate swapped a rb26det into his 34gt, and he just got it re-registered and thats it. he didnt have to get no engineers cert etc, apparently because they have the same shells, the r34gt and gt-t's. so they said its automatically a turbo shell so no need to get plates and engineers. and also beforehand, he did upgrade the brakes to GTR ones.

Who Would Want A 300/320k/hr Speedo
Bronx replied to darrinspencer's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
count me in if it ever gets sorted, but i only have 1 speed o and thats in my car, so no spares -
if you can in any way get a s14 s2, id say get that, that is a hell of a lot of fun to tune and work on, s13 is too old and s15 is tooo much. other than that, r33 looks like a mangled UFO with a rb25 engine in it plus everyone has one. if you dont care for a cars value, i would definitely say buy a xr8 or a ss, that sound makes the straight sixes sound like a fart.

hey all, selling a RB26 engine with the 30 block, this thing is fully rebuilt from scratch and even still uses the twin turbo setup! list of some of the things done: Balanced and lightened crank Forged Pistons Ported, polished and rebuilt head Cusotm turbo manifolds 1000cc injectors custom fuel rail and alot more things, but i dont have the full list with me at the moment in regards to what else was put into it. engine is legit, nothing stolen or cheap, its from a R34 GTR engine pulls out 700bhp on low tune!! engine will be sold for $16k ono and can talk deals to include gearbox with triple plate clutch. any interests, just PM me give me about 2 days to find the list, because i do have work and other commitments. cheers Jean

Interesting Read Up On Garrett / Honeywell Turbo
Bronx replied to PetroDola's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
i highly doubt that story is true to begin with, msot possibly just one turbo company going at the other, and writing crap, just google the things stated in that statement, cant see anything about caterpillar recalls or ford lawsuits anywhere on the net. all that ever comes up for like 10 pages is that same statement that has spread over like 200+ forums. only way to check, get someone with a older garrett turbo to measure the front blades and compare to a new one. but i highly doubt their quality can really be that bad, even the cheap ebay nuggets, they do their job pretty well. compare quality vs price vs performance between hks and garrett and see whats going on, hks turbos are almost double the price, so they better be double as good at minimum. now i havent compared any tubros one against the other, im just going by whats on paper. -
wow, and i thought i was on crack
-
haha, thats funny as, but i dont follow that media crap, all it was, was a guy posing as pedobear, when i went to supanova here in sydney, we all hung round with the pedobear in the convention and outside, i think i still have some pictures too, i still think the whole hatred towards pedobear is pretty harsh. poor little bear, all he wanted was some attention

is that a mix of kgc10 and stagea??? this is confusing
-
id love track days, hence why i wont use air bags, it will be coils, they will only be lowered for phot shoots and racing i guess, the roads here are terrible, so no need to go low and hard. im not looking at making any insane adjustments to the stagea, all i will do in the long run is rebuild the ngine, get brake upgrades and rollcage, i wont worry about weight reductions etc, im just looking at getting a bit out of the car, around 500-600bhp at max. make something unique, but i still refuse to invest in any subs or doof doof equipment, nor any "fancy" interior crap.

this is what im going for, its kinda my style, have something totally out there, its all from hellaflush.com i will be dropping the car pretty far and hood will become carbon fibre, with single bucket seat for driver. but that will only be for show or photoshoots, otherwise id rather have my car lifted. and no, there will be no gay BOV or "flutter", it will all be silent and stock otherwise.
-
these are the pics, before and after: Now hate me all you Haters!!!
-
woops, yeah, forgot to mention the coils. didnt know the VCT kicks in at 4500... cool, one more thing to add tot he knowledge list

2000 Stagea Rs-four S Manual Gearbox Woes
Bronx replied to Tommy G's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
if its a input shaft bearing, id get it looked at soonish , not 100% urgent, but its always better to get it done sooner than later. in my old audi i drove with a broken bearing for about 8000km untill my car was totalled, was working fine, just dont know how the wear and tear inside the box was. what brand did you use for your timing belt???? i know gates belts usually have a squeal. but if its a tightening problem, i dont quite know, havent changed a timing belt on a nissan before thats all i got in regards to information -
^ nice sticker, and i was about to say thats a funky numberplate too, but its just turned into swirls haha well i have the stickers on my car now, but dont know if i should post or not, dont want people to hate.
