Hi all,
I am currently in the process of a full steering rebuild, while I'm at it I thought it would be a good time to shout myself and upgrade to some aftermarket goodies
I pulled the steering rack off tonight and found that my right tie rod end is totally shot. The car is lowered so I'm not sure if this would contribute, then again if it affects one side it could do so to the other side which feels quite alright.
So I've been looking around for aftermarket tie rod ends and I came across two that interested me. Moonface and Kazama.
Moonface: http://www.rhdjapan.com/moonface-bump-adjust-tie-rod-end-set-60201
Kazama: http://www.rhdjapan.com/kazama-tie-rod-end-55064
I'm not too knowledgeable in this type of stuff but in the descriptions, the Kazama items seem to be race orientated wheres the Moonface items states that it retains the stock handling feel with a lowered car. Would there be any difference between these two? I realise the Moonface ones are $100 odd dearer than the Kazama ones, my car is a daily drive so I don't want hard/race orientated stuff on which the Kazama ones seem to be, correct me if I'm wrong
I also had a look at the Just Jap stuff, prices are pretty good, should I be going for these instead of Jap specs?
Any help appreciated
