  4. Not too sure about the front bar,it looks slightly similar to the banana bar. Side skirts are m-specs though.
  5. What you disconnected in the rear quarter was the fuel pump resistor, the antenna unit is right next to it,you just have to look behind it. There's two plugs going into it top and middle. Im guessing the top one is for signal and middle is for power, disconnect that. I have this problem too, prior to removing the antenna unit for a rear quarter repair the aerial wasn't going up with stereo on and I noticed the middle plug was out, once repair was done I connected up the two plugs going into it the thing went up so previous owner did it.
  6. D wing looks sexy bro
  7. So I did the overhaul on the pump, haven't put it back in yet though. Now I'm about to do the overhaul/reseal on the rack itself,is there anything I should have to look out for/tips? Aand, while I've got the rack out,is it worth buying new stiffer Nismo rack bushes or are they a waste of time? They're around the $80 mark both sides from RHD Japan, not too bad. Anyone had these? Cheers.
  8. Thanks for the advice guys, oem replacements it is
  9. Around the $400 mark by the looks of Nengun and RHD Japan, depends where your buying from I guess.
  10. Hi all, I am currently in the process of a full steering rebuild, while I'm at it I thought it would be a good time to shout myself and upgrade to some aftermarket goodies I pulled the steering rack off tonight and found that my right tie rod end is totally shot. The car is lowered so I'm not sure if this would contribute, then again if it affects one side it could do so to the other side which feels quite alright. So I've been looking around for aftermarket tie rod ends and I came across two that interested me. Moonface and Kazama. Moonface: http://www.rhdjapan.com/moonface-bump-adjust-tie-rod-end-set-60201 Kazama: http://www.rhdjapan.com/kazama-tie-rod-end-55064 I'm not too knowledgeable in this type of stuff but in the descriptions, the Kazama items seem to be race orientated wheres the Moonface items states that it retains the stock handling feel with a lowered car. Would there be any difference between these two? I realise the Moonface ones are $100 odd dearer than the Kazama ones, my car is a daily drive so I don't want hard/race orientated stuff on which the Kazama ones seem to be, correct me if I'm wrong I also had a look at the Just Jap stuff, prices are pretty good, should I be going for these instead of Jap specs? Any help appreciated
  11. Looking good Jeremy
  12. ikr! I guess companies and product sellers take into account that there is a successful market towards car enthusiasts and they'l sometimes go over the top and happen to splurge out on their love and joy.
  13. Here you go mate, Stereo:http://neweraparts.com/Default.aspx?tabid=54&CategoryID=202&List=0&catpageindex=1&Level=a&ProductID=772 AC:http://neweraparts.com/Default.aspx?tabid=54&CategoryID=202&List=0&catpageindex=1&Level=a&ProductID=771 In the UK I think, prices are pretty hefty.
  14. Try this site: http://neweraparts.com/Default.aspx?tabid=54&CategoryID=202&List=0&Level=a&catpageindex=1 Parts are located in the UK though I think.
  15. And don't forget that the rubber seals are 20 odd years old from factory on a hydraulic component,so eventually, over time they'l squash and require replacing.
  16. Always wondered what those red buttons are for, nos perhaps?
  17. Yeah i figured it was. I don't really like the idea of replacing a standard air-bag wheel for a sporty non air-bag item, thats just me though
  18. Are the steering components making any noises? My car was in a bit of a hit and that completely fked the steering, when you turn the wheel it was heavy as shit and occasionally you could feel it grab, and it was making this terrible groaning sound. Anyway Iv'e recently taken the pump out and ordered a overhaul/seal kit for pump and rack just to be sure, from Nissan ($30 for pump kit,$80 for rack kit - For R33). Took out the pump and found 3/4 of the seals were flat as pancakes so it was letting fluid pass through, not building up pressure. And I'm not sure if its going to make a difference, but once the steering is fixed, might be an idea to get a wheel alignment.
  19. Maybe a Cusco number plate re locator even? But then agian, that would be sacrilege drilling holes in such a unique bumper
  20. Sorry about the hijack, but i had my rear quarter painted recently, stuck to the original paint code and it looks darker than the rest of the car,it sticks out so fkn bad. There is absolutely no way to blend in?
  21. Yeah, its slightly bigger in size. Stock R33 SMIC tends to get heat soaked faster.
  22. Well if you can't fit a FMIC in there,a R34 side mount is a decent upgrade
  23. White R34 gtt at Mandurah Foreshore just then
