I waited for a log time for the release of GTA IV, then they delayed the game for a further 8 months! I really cannot wait for this game, it's fantastic that it will be in San Andreas. The graphics look great and I can just imagine how much stuff there will be included! Mt Chilliad looks so awesome!!! Anyone notice the dog in the trailer? The dude also mentioned how he wanted to be a dad. It's a long shot but if they're including animals they may have children, too. Might end up wih the initial Australian release being watered down. Maybe a UK version would be the way to go? Australia really needs an R18+ rating for games. It's ridiculous that we don't, the people calling the shots are living in the dark ages.

Hey everyone, I'm in between houses at the moment (waiting for old tenants to move out) and I'd like to play MW3 on PSN, but I only have my iPhone 4 on optus as a way of connecting to the internet. Obviously I don't get enough data to do that safely (2-3gb) and I've heard that unlockit.co.nz allows you to get free 3g. I was wondering if my provider would track it and charge me for it if I used unlockit.co.nz and connected my PS3 to the internet by using my phone as a hotspot? Anyone know if this would work, or know of any other way that I could get online? Not sure if this belongs here, didn't feel like putting it in the wasteland, though.... Thanks in advance!

Stupider. OP, I doubt your friend is holding the car on the limiter for 5 whole seconds. Get a stop watch or just count 5 seconds in your head, if someone could hold the car on the limiter like that then there must be something wrong with them. The car sounds like death and drops off the power curve, so it will noticeably slow down.

I know the XR6T engine has been put into an R33 GTS-T... I'd like to see one in a gt-t or a mint 180sx though. I love the 4L ford engine, hate the chassis it's in though... I had a street fords mag with a worked xr6t engine in something like a cortina or a Capri. Can't remember, but it was absolutely insane, lol. If anyone knows of the link to the vid of the 33 with the xr6t engine, or any details on the xr6t engine in the cortina/escort/Capri or whatever it was, please post them I'd personally like to put an XR6T engine in an xf ute and put coil overs in the rear. The xf I had was a fun slider, it would be excellent like that.

I can't see why an engine would begin to run into issues more if it has been opened up. If the work is done properly there is nothing that should really go wrong. Obviously if the work is dodgy you'll run into issues, that's where word of mouth comes in. Use a workshop with a good reputation. If you're asking this question I'm going to go out on a limb and assume you're not competent enough to rebuild it yourself, so don't risk it. If you want to learn there's no harm in hanging around and giving a hand while they do the work I know it's a simpler engine, but I rebuild my dirt bikes all the time and because I know what I'm doing I don't have issues. There wouldn't be engine builders out there if engines were known for failing after being worked on.

In forza 3 they had a 50 lap Tsukuba race. I would assume there would be some enduro's in 4.

Thanks for the advice mate. I DO have doubts, it's just that the car hasn't had any problems since power cruise last year, and on the last reassembly, they seem to have gotten it right. I'm no guru, but I know my way around a falcon. It's just that being away from home for uni, I don't feel like/have the time or space to drop the box out should I need to do some work. I get my opens in December and I really want an import. A bunch of job opportunities have gone balls up so it doesn't look like it will happen

Anyone else got any ideas? This car hasn't snapped anything for the last 8+ months, but I want to be sure before I take the plunge. People on the ford forums say it's all good, just wanting an unbiased opinion, because I know a lot of you are ford haters, hahaha.

A mechanic has had a look at it and it has got him stumped. The only thing that he could come up with, was that the crank is out of balance and the resulting vibrations are causing the issue. The guy drives rough, but no rougher than any other 5 speed falcadore owner, and not rough enough that I wouldn't want the car because it was thrashed too much.

Same deal as don't go into business with mates. I've done car swaps with him before. It's all good.

Hey everyone, my mate is keen to swap his 96 XH ute for my 2001 S2 AU sedan. My AU has around 250xxx, his ute has a genuine 165xxx. His ute has 199.1HP at the rear wheels and it's the fastest car I've ever driven (still a P plater). Plus I'd say it would be worth a bit more than my AU. It has some weird issues that no one has been able to get to the bottom of, though. He has been honest with me about them, and here they are, just quoting from a text message. So to summarise the issues they are: Snapping Cables *NOT* where it goes through the firewall, down near the bellhouing. The door has an issue closing (not heaps fussed about that one) The flywheel is coming loose under a lot of load. This has been an ongoing issue with the car and it's had a mechanic stumped. They had considered tack welding the bolts to the studs, but he just put it back together and has been taking it easy since. They had an idea that the crank MAY be out of balance, causing the flywheel bolts to come off with vibration, any idea if this could be correct? Transmission heat The locker is annoying when driving. Anyone know what may be causing the heat from the trans, the clutch cable issue or the flywheel issue? Here is the list of mods: Shaved head Cam (not sure on size) Pod Extractors Exhaust Spool Heavy duty single plate clutch Lowered 4 inches around 1 leaf removed to soften it up for drag launches, (I believe it ran a 13 second pass) It's got a "chip" for the ECU "but it's locked to you can't play with it" I didn't think ECU Chips existed, lol. Do it, lol. Gt5 is fun, but forza 3 is better, and forza 4 looks heaps better than 3 in the graphics/sound department. The customisation and physics are better, too.

Not sure if I have polyps (never had a scan to look for them), but my nose has been like that all my life. I'm a non smoker, btw. One side of my nose is ALWAYS blocked, or running so much that it may as well be blocked, once it's blown it needs to be blown again. When I get a cold, I get sore under my eyes where the sinuses block up. I used to see a chiropractor when I was a kid because I had a scoliosis. He used to do this thing where he would use this thumbs on each side of my nose and press REALLY hard. It would almost feel like my nose was breaking. When he first did it, he said "in about 24 hours, your nose will run and you'll be unblocked", he was right. It was crazy! I do it to myself from time to time, with varying degrees of success. Every time he did it though, it would work. If you get your sinuses removes, does it leave you open to infection?

^^^ That + customisation that is actually decent, the ability to upgrade all cars, and damage just owns GT5... The graphics look way better than GT5 anyway, on GT5 if you zoom into the car, the doors have like THICK jaggies on them. Forza never had that in number 3 or 2. This new forza looks so much better. I am actually considering buying an Xbox just to play it again. That looks ridiculously good.

I recently bought a PS3 and GT5, coming from Forza 3 on an xbox 360. Forza shits all over GT5 in the modification and tuning department... put individual parts on that make sense, rather than "stage 4", you can adjust almost every adjustable part on the car to your liking, including tire pressure. In GT5 it's just packages, and 3 sorts of tires you can get. PLUS, you can't even modify a RIDICULOUS amount of cars. The modifiable ones have to be "premium". I didn't know wtf was going on when I first played it, it was pretty disappointing. Also, there's no damage in GT5, and the cars that do have the ability to be damaged can be put into a wall at 150 and come out with a bit of a bent front bar. Forza > GT5 I still like the PS3 way more than I liked my 360, though. With my 360 it wouldn't matter what car I was driving on forza, if I didn't have the TV volume cranked, you could be forgiven if you thought a supercharged V8 was the only engine sound in the game. The 360 was so loud, lol.

My mate has driven EF and AU falcons with open diffs and can get them sideways in the dry. He is crazy though, just reefs on the wheel at 80+ then countersteers, lol.... Nice little project man, wish I had an import on my P's. I get my opens in December though, so there's time for that
