  1. Most places should be able to do it, LSX tune would be my choice, mostly do holdens these days but he has worked on jap cars for years as well.
  2. It use to work like that, But i believe they caught on and have since changed the rules etc.
  3. I got my d1r's from taleb, the guy was very helpful.
  4. Fhrx, that's all I will say, by far the best place in sydney
  5. If it's just yellow on the outside that's a piss easy fix.
  6. I will help out when I get the time, would be good to meet a few more skyline owners.
  7. We use these as company cars, complete joke of a car, every single one of them has had a heap of faults, most common thing is head light assembly's melting lol.
  8. Reliability and easy to find parts for I would go camry, but looks wise I would go liberty.
  9. I own a commodore v8, most reliable car in the family, it's always used as a go to car when shit breaks on someone elses.
  10. When I feel like changing, 1000rpm or limited, it's all good.
  11. Might come and take a look.
  12. Buy a v35 instead
  13. My mate has an fd rx7, mildly modded and to my surprise it doesn't chew that much fuel.
  14. The white 34 GTT spotted in panania would have been me, I drive through there almost every afternoon around the same time.
  15. eBay ones are fine. Mate just got one and it looks the goods.
  16. 304, electronic fuel injection is a must these days.
  17. In nsw you only need a police report if either car I's undrivable, or either occupant needed medical attention, I was involved in one not to long ago (not at fault) and police didn't want to know a thing about it.
  18. It works with some of the commodore remotes, my father locked the keys in his hsv, he called my mother who was some 20km away, she pushed the remote and held it up to the phone and it worked. Confussed the shit out of me because I was always told it doesn't work.
  19. I would be keen, any idea on how they will sit ? Ive got a small "ball" shaped one and I love it, I bought another one of eBay and it was a stick type one and it sat up way to high, to the point were I was literally punching my stereo when changing to 3rd.
  20. Oh it might be rare, But doesn't mean its nice .
  21. Im the same, Not a huge GTR fan, Just didn't enjoy the drive. Still a bloody nice car though. Best thing to do is write a list and go and drive one of each and then make a decision.
  22. In all honesty coming from a commodore background, an ls series engine would probably be alot simpler and cheaper, not to mention the aftermarket performance range I's insane.
  23. Have you got the ac and dash parts ?
  24. It's easy to pick up clean commodores for cheap these days, I picked up my immaculate vr v8 Calais for a little over 2 grand, not a mark on the body or interior, came with 18's and brand new toyo tyres. With 8 months rego from an old bloke.
