im going there now to have a look. ill post back later
-
my back tires are like 30-40% tread plus it was raining hard where this happend last night. the ground was very wet, even if i slammed the brakes i would have ended up in the middle of the intersection. I am very positive i was NOT in the wrong this time. Just unlucky. the 110 in a 60 zone im going to cop because that was me. since then ive actuary been behaving but it just doesnt go my way.
-
im green p's so i have 6 points. Thing is, the one last night, i was going 59-60, but when i crossed the line and the light was still amber i sped up to about 60-64 so i dont know if it was speed or red light. either way im f**ked, but this im contesting caus i have a witness.
-
im pretty sure i will us up all my point because i got done again last night which is utter bullshit. it was a red light speed cam, i couldnt stop in time because it was wet, i was more than half way and i got flashed, mind you it was still amber when i went over the line. Im contesting this one for sure. Im just the luckiest guy out huh.

i think i may have an option of a good behavior bond, which is 1 point for 12 months? correct me if im wrong. im certain i was doing under 105, i like to hope so anyway

i actually drive a vl, but thats besides the point edit taken from a gov website. Penalties for excessive speeding If you are caught travelling at 45 km/h or more above the speed limit, you will incur the following penalties: * automatic loss of licence for six months * six demerit points * expiation fee. Your licence will usually be suspended if you are detected going over the speed limit by 25 km/h or more. Your vehicle may be immobilised or impounded if you are travelling 45 km/h or more over the speed limit, or at more than 145 km/h. The police may give you a warning if you are doing less than 10 km/h over the speed limit. See ‘Police action’ in ‘Possible outcomes for traffic offences’ (link below). All excessive speed offences attract demerit points. See ‘Demerit points’ (link below). Can I stop my licence from being suspended? Your licence can be saved if the magistrate believes you were driving less than 25 km/h over the speed limit, at a speed less than 130 km/h. Otherwise the magistrate has no choice and must suspend your licence. If your licence is suspended, the minimum suspension period depends on how much over the speed limit you were driving: * 25 to less than 35 km/h over the speed limit – one month * 35 to less than 45 km/h over the speed limit – six months * 45 km/h or more over the speed limit – 12 months

not funny. clearly you have never been in this situation. my job depends on this outcome. i know what i did was wrong and now im suffering.

hopefully i can use that as a defence and rule out the margin of error (3km's) and hopefully get it down to something like 98. I was speaking to my friend today who said he only saw me doing 100 to 105 and that i was slowing down right before i got flashed. none the less, its still a 6 month suspension, unless i get it down to under 95km's which is only 1 month suspension. (dreaming)

what can she do? well picture this. she bought me 2 cars, the 1st one i wrote off in the rain 2 days after i bought it. plus all the money she gave me to fix up my current car.
-
court? well f**k, thanks, that makes me feel a f**k tone better. i dont give 2 f**kes about fines, i care that if the cops rock up to my door and my mum is home. im thinking of going in to the cop station and telling them what i did just so they dont come.
-
i know how f**ked i am. i had an passenger too, so ill get dicked for endangering another life. i really pray i was doing under 100 because that night i rang the cops, spoke to a sergeant and he said 40+ over is loss of license for 6 months and $580 fine, no matter what. and thats just the minimum. just for the record, it was emu road near highpoint shopping centre in the western sub's, google maps it if you want. There is frequent drags on this road, thats prob why he was set up. Its residential.
-
if the cops come to my house i swear my mum will kick me out. im f**ked hard. i should just go hand in my license right now so they dont come and take my car to the impound so they wont have to tow it.
-
it was a parked undercover. the limit was 60, i was slowing down from 110. i pray i slowed down enough to be under 100 when it snapped. i think i was acutally doing 105 at the time. yeah, im f**ked. only thing im really worried about is the car is registered under my mums name..................................
-
what happens if i get flashed by a speed camera doing around 105 in a 60 zone. I have no prior offences, im on my p's.
-
well it turns out the rego wasnt suspended, i have 28 days to get it road worthy, its only the windscreen though . had to call the local police station to find out. I now have myself a new sexy vl! thanks for all your input none the less guys
-
yeah i wanted to sus it out 1st because i cant afford to cop a 500 dollar fine right now. maybe i can find a mechanic in the area and get it fixed.
-
well thats just f**king great. the person im buying it off said he didnt get a letter saying it was suspended but thing is the canary needed to be sorted by last friday, so now i dont know what to do.
-
you missunderstand. The car IS registered till next year its only suspended because it didnt fix a canary by the due date which was friday.
-
today is sunday man. i need to get the car in like 2 hours. vic roads are closed
-
Hey what happens if i am caught driving with a suspended rego? The reason is it suspended is because the car needed to be road worthied by friday or the rego will get suspended, which it did. Im buying the car today and i need to drive it home because it is very far away from me. Clearly i cant get it road worthied today because it is sunday and im pretty sure most mechanics arent open. Would i cop a fine or would my vehicle get towed? Or anything? Thanks
-
go on...
-
hey guys im after a vl berlina, as soon as tuesday. if you have one or know anyone that has one please let me know. Must have rego, and would prefer it under 200,000km's. spending up to 3k. If i like what i see, i will come with cash and if it drives well i will take it on the spot. Ta
