Hi Guys n Girls Can anyone point me in the right direction in Perth (or over East) to get replacement foam Pod Filter inserts for the Trust RB26 kit!? Do replacements even exist? The foam ones in my kit now are so old they are starting to disintergrate (very bad!) Any ideas? Cheers Mat

I mailed my application Sep 1st, got my approval in mail Sep 21. There doesn't appear to be any real delays at the moment in Canberra. Just though this info might be able to help someone.

Yeah, 89 GTRs dont have side intrusion bars, they def need to be fitted. There's been plenty of rule changes since Oct03, most notably you now require an engineer/RAWS to sign off on roadworthiness and compliance mods. Also, the areas that need mods are different from model to model, so mods needed for a GTR may be different than a Silvia, 300zx, RX7 etc and vice versa. Cheers dude, I had thought of doing it myself as nothing on the list does look that hard (except maybe the side intrusion bars). The way my job is though I just dont think I would have the time/patience to get it done myself over a couple weekends. Its a toss up between having the money or having the time/effort and I'd rather pay someone and get it done quick... My days of turning a spanner are (hopefully) over. Gday guys n girls Not sure if this belongs in here, but i'm after specific Perth info. I am waiting on my 89 GTR to come accross from Japan and am in the process of organising customs/insurance/compliance etc etc. What I am after is feedback/info/recommendations on workshops that could do compliance on 89 GTRs, preferably workshops that have done this model before. Any info is appreciated....costs/reputation/workmanship etc etc. I have contacted the 3 workshops recommended by Prestige, but I like to research stuff as much as possible :-) Thanks heaps! Mat

You paid $1300 for a regular Sony 68cm tv?!?! Ouch! Sony 68cm wega flatscreens retail for $900 in stores, you could easily get it for less than $800 BRAND NEW.... i guess everybody should shop around and get a real deal... Tit for tat mate...geez I'm a small petty man :wassup:

'Samsung' and 'top of the range' should never go together mate..... i doubt if your plasma is a High Definition model...you may have a HD box, but your plasma screen wont be.... My TV sold last week for $5800....so i guess everyone's happy :-)

I am now willing to accept offers OVER $5600.... I suggest to anyone who can get this package for less than that in the stores then go buy it, i think you would have be very good mates with someone who worked there to get it at this price! Oh yeah, and its all through Sony Australia so definitely you get the manafacturers warranty...i think its only 1 year though....

Thanks for the enquiry but sorry mate, I'd rather keep it all together... If you can get this exact model TV for about $5K then definitely buy it as that is 33% off retail! Bear in mind that there is a lesser model that retails for about $5700, was this the one you were thinking of? Cheers
