I got someone to check out the error code from the ECU and it came up with the code P0500 Vechicle Speed Sensor. My importer and mechanic said the TCS is dead or a loose cable. Anyone have any idea on how to check which one it is. My Mechanic said I will need to take it to a auto electrician. Any bright ideas people

Geez nothing wrong with typing in capitals. I am at work and I have caps lock on all the time because the system only recognises caps. Anyway thanks for the advice i will look into the fuses.

LAST YEAR AROUND OCTOBER MY ENGINE WARNING LIGHTS AND SLIP AND TCS TURNS ON NOT VERY OFTEN ONCE IN A BLUE MOON. IT GOT WORST AROUND CHRISTMAS SO I CHANGED THE SPARK PLUGS AND COIL PACKS. NOW THE LIGHT STAYS ON, IT RUNS PERFECT NO MISS FIRE AND WEIRD REVS ITS DRIVES LIKE A CHARM. ITS JUST SEEING THOSE LIGHTS MAKE ME REALLY SCARED ANY IDEAS GUYS. SOMEONE MENTION IT MAY BE THE ELECTRICAL WIRING.

Does anyone know where I can buy the JJR coil packs i hear they are as cheap as the yellow jacket ones. Its just I don't want to wait for the yellow jacket coil packs, because of christmas it will take ages. Most people would recommend spit fires for my R34 GTT its true to be honest but, I am not so keen on Spitfires maybe when I start doing some performance upgrades but, at the current moment very basic modifications like exhaust and boost controller so dont want to buy spitfires. Yellow Jackets cost $420 include postage any bright ideas. I cant drive the skyline at the moment until I change the coil packs. REALLY WANT TO GET THE CAR BACK ON THE ROAD!

My coils packs are on the way out and looking to buy some. Just wondering what people think, should i get spit fires or original OEM coil packs. Also has anyone used a brand called yellow jackets. I believe they sell the cheapest aftermarket coil packs at the moment i think. http://www.performance-wise.com/page2.htm Please give me your opinion on these coil packs if you have used them. Or' Any other brand coil packs and where to get them cheap. I dont use the car on the race track i drive it as a daily so only a hammer here and there. What brand is the head unit?

I would like to buy the stock tweeters of a R34 GTT. When my car came into Australia from japan some idiot took them off so all I have is 2 holes there with no tweeters. I am a person that quite like stock interior so if anyone could sell me stock tweeters that would be good.

I have a single bride replica bucket seat available from my last sale thread. The person that brought my other one needed only one, Its up for sale at $200 but I am willing to take offers. I personally would say just car because of what you are looking for, i personally would recommend you a turbo over a non turbo because in NSW P plate laws are stupid, if you are a P plate you don't get to drive turbo. Judging by what i see you are brisbane and top of my head you dont have that law. (I maybe wrong) I rang shannons before but, because I don't have a lock up garage and I have not had more then 12 months experience with turbo cars they don't want to insure me. Famous car insurance don't insure under 25, no garage, they limit the distance you are allowed away from your car at night time. Insurance under your parents name and then add your name is a big no no because it wont make it any cheaper. If you just place it under your parents name and not add your name, I have heard way to many stores of people not getting the insurance money because of that.

Geez expensive for a N/A, Currently paying 2800 with just car for a R34 GT T and i thought that was pricey. Shannon wont touch me one because first turbo car and 2 no driveway to park in only in the street. which annoyed me because cats scratch my car on the top :'(

Have a look in the air vents, stupid enough when i got my car imported the idiot place the apexi turbo timer inside the center air vent. I knew there was a turbo timer but unsure where it was, my importer and I took apart the dash and found it behind the center air vents. I was like "which idiot would place a turbo timer behind air vents" hope your one maybe the case that would make it simple.

Don't mean to be rude but it looks like a commodore or XR6 in the front

I believe this question most likely has been answered but, cant find the answer. Sorry still new to the car scene. I have a R34 GTT with a stock turbo, I imported this car not long ago. It just now I just discovered that the last owner in japan had a HKS boost controller hidden near the pedals. Just wondering what is the best manufacture boost would be. He had it set to 0.75 bar as low and a 1.05 as high. I remember someone telling me never to go over 10 psi which i think is 0.7 bar of boost. You can blow the turbo going to high because the turbo is ceramic. To everyone that knows or has a NEO RB25DET what boost are you running with a stock turbo and is it safe. I baby my car so don't tend to drive it hard once in the blue moon if someone wants to see how much power or when i am running a orange light.

Place it this way any tyres are better then the snow tyres i have now they are scary in wet weather.

To be Honest Tempe tyres quoted me on so Kumho KU31 225/45 R17 for about $330 each which is $3 cheaper then RRP and 235/45 R17 cost me $200 each which $9 cheaper then RRP not sure if i spoke to the wrong person. Even bob jane T mart near my work quoted me cheaper.

Well I have Stock R34 GTT rims so they are 225/45 R17 at the front and 235/45 R17 at the back.
