  1. For the record, i am the owner of the black RX7, not Rice. Also for the record he has nothing to do with the build/tune of the car.
  2. Please don't tarnish all us rotor heads with the same brush. Some of us are normal people, who can have a normal conversations and simply enjoy our cars, and other makes/models as well. They all have a certain charm when viewed in the rear view mirror of an FD Sure there are some funny, and uneducated things said on here, but that's half the reason for forums and the internet, to learn, (the other half has featured in this thread as well!).
  3. LOL That's probably a fair call! Though i think some of these clowns are a few double helix twists short from the get go. Brad
  4. F1 POWAS!!!! HEKTIC
  5. I can give you the mad hook ups on roof canards Pete, PM me That FD only did sub 1.05 when WP was being run counter clockwise. I think the FD crew need to put all their faith in AndyMac in his once automatic wonder car. Brad
  6. Sorry for digging up an old thread but i am considering getting a 32gtr as a daily. I was hoping the owners of the car could give some feedback as to the suitability of a mildly modded 32gtr as a daily (200-250ishrwkw). What sort of fuel figures does the car return? As best i can see the ongoing costs of a reliable car are not really any worse than a similar car. I own a S6 RX7 and there are a stack of things i would recommend someone do when they buy one. Are there anythings that are "must dos" or things to watch out for? Much appreciated!! Brad
  7. Glad we could help out and I hope that at the next one we see a few more of you boys and girls down there Brad
  8. I'm not doubting the speed of the car at all, but you have to compare apples to apples Would love to get out to Oran but not going anywhere til I get the over heating issue sorted and fix the sway bar mount that i broke. Brad
  9. Was one of the guys on the committee taking the vid footage, so check in with me in a while and I'll see what has been organised Brad
  10. Just to set the record straight http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results..../2005.WAKE.S3.Y Was great to see you down there Jason. Ended up being a really good variety of cars and the sprint races were unreal to watch, even though Jason took the victory there Pity more Nissans couldn't make it, hope to see more of you at the next one Regards, Brad

  15. Can't wait for this day, really happy to be holding it with you guys too Is going to be very interesting seeing the Nissans up against the Mazdas Brad
  16. Hey all, would like to introduce myself, I'm Brad, President and motorsports organiser for the day. I hope we didn't upset anyone with having the event only open to only members for the first month, we just did it that way so we gave our members first option There are still spots open on the day and it is $145 for SAU members, this includes professional timing, tuition from Ric Shaw (if you want) and the chance to win some cool prizes; Trophy- Best presented NSW car and best presented ACT car Free Dyno session- Most improved from last day Billet Rotor Oil Cap- Best first timer Billet rotor Oil Cap- Winner of go to whoa If its your first time don't stress, you get a great chance to familiarise yourself and you only on the track with beginners for the first half of the day. Even if you don't want to race the day is pretty awesome and you can ride passenger in the cars if you have a Wakefield license and pay the $20 fee. You can also enter the show and shine or just come and say hi We have a few race cars coming down including Ivans 20BPP S4 sports sedan, Berry's 12AT S4 sports sedan, Ric Shaw's GTP RX& fresh from a win at winton and an unconfirmed race car with near on 800rwhp, its a 3 rotor, with as many turbos Hope to see some of you down there, even if it is just to say hi and see how the day runs, if not this time maybe in the future we can all get together and play Regards, Brad
