Not sure about the sleeve still unfortunately. Maybe call Heasmans in Sydney, they will be able to tell you. (02) 9516 1182 They are soooo much better than my Hipermax. Bumps are way less harsh. Its like a new car.

I'll have a look at it when I'm at the mechanics. I am not interested in being that low anymore. I have Hipermax on now and with the V-Spec front diffuser its a massive bitch! Do I'm looking to add some height if anything. I will see what the mechanic reckons about taking that sleeve off.

Bilsteins have arrived. In my possession!!! I will be getting them installed on the weekend. Any tips/tricks I should know? Can't wait to get them on the road. For any would be purchasers, I ordered them on the 7th of May, shipping commenced on the 11th and I recieved them on the 29th. 3 week turnaround. As a special bonus, I did not get whacked with any customs or GST at all....boooom!! Total cost AU$1240

Mine are in the mail....The shipment was initiated on the 11th of May, and latest status on 16th was "The shipment will be transported to the destination country and, from there, handed over to the delivery organization." I'm hoping that means they will arrive any day now! Unless they're coming by tug boat. Can you adjust the damping without taking the wheels off?

I ordered a set yesterday from this site: FSMIG which seems to be the same company as TVH Autoteile. The price on FSMIG was €1003, less 19% VAT = €843 On the TVH site, the price is €973 less 19$ VAT €818, but to pay with PayPal its an extra 2.5%, which makes it about the same (€5 difference). Shipping was €99. The FSMIG site is way easier to use as it is in english. They say the coilovers will be shipped on Monday or Tuesday next week! Can't wait! Now to by some R33/R34 top mounts.

What is the stock suspension from? R33 GTR? If so, I'm interested.

Revival!!!! I want to see how much it would cost to rebuild my Hipermax II's....I'm in Sydney. Anyone know a place that can rebuild coilovers? I asked the HKS distirbutor in QLD and they said I would have to send them to Japan!

I might need some top mounts too...

Keen on doing this too....also keen to know what the ride is like. I was looking at the UK and it was going to be $1600-$1700 including duties...so Germany it is!

UPDATE 1. Used clutch - was slipping in 3rd and 4th, under stock power. Definitely needs rebuild (call Jim, he'll want a stocker swapper). Replaced with ORC twin - $250 Inspected and is worth more like $150 2. Used dual-mass flywheel now for sale - Will inspect condition and update. For now price = $200 (1.+2. Used clutch + flywheel = $300) 3. Clutch line - does what standard clutch lines do. Replaced with Nismo - $20 or free with any other purchase 4. Front and rear upper arms - in good condition (other than needing a wash). Replaced with Ikeya Formula - $200 5. Starter motor - makes a screeching noise after the engine has been turned over. Needs a rebuild, grease up, or swap with an auto electrician. Replaced wth working one - $100 NEW ADDITION: 6. Standard silver R34 GTR front bar with mesh, indicators and GTR badge (no bottom lip) - $450 Prefer Sydney pick-ups, but will post at the buyers expense (not posting front bar though). This is a good thread for potential GTR owners....buy a GTR, then budget the cost of purchase for onging maintenace/upgrades/surprises. Still beats playing golf for kicks though! Hope everything is progressing well.....very keen on updates!
