it depends on the auction house,i`ve seen cars that are graded 4.5 AA at 1 auction reappear at another house graded 3.5 B C ..some are honest graders and some are blatent liars ...it has taken me years to work out which is which not to mention a fair bit of money as well

in my experience ..150+ imported...never seen any of them in person before purchase..using auction sheet only..it depends on the auction house ..some are seller orientated and a COUPLE !!! are buyer biased ..which are the only ones i buy from now ie. if i ever meet the guy who grades cars at JAA tokyo i`m gonna kick him in the nuts..

thanks for you comment,the reason it will approx 10 weeks is the 8 weeks between finishing the car and having dotars engineers come up from canberra to inspect it as it will be the first for this company ,after that it will be normal time frame for compliancing 5-10 days . i can get car car here in 4 weeks ..and dream on that dotars will be around in 6 weeks to inspect it .but thats a bit unrealistic and i don`t want to make false promises hence the 16 week total ..could take less ..but i doubt it

ive been hearing that for 11 years...it will never be shut down...its to late now.. and they are not "bad " for the economy ..for every job "lost" at holden will be replaced by the import workshop/car yard..that just opened up...the whole job loss thing is just crap ,you only have to visit new zealand..they seem to be doing pretty good without holden and ford "assembly" plants..economy is doing well without the second rate american crap holden and ford peddle.. and they drive better cars that are cheaper due to tariffs we pay to protect poor old fragile companys such as ford and general motors ... sooner or later they will be the ones that will vanish from australia..... to china .. where they belong

just to let you know complete xenon lamps for 34`s sell for approx $12-1300 a set ..$750 for a pair of bulbs is not much of a chance on this forum

yes.it is possible to remove and replace complete unit and some rewiring is needed at plug..not difficult to do about 10 minutes per side

your about 8-10k short to buy a manual 34 coupe or sedan in turbo .non turbo manual at 20k is available,turbo auto start @ 20k ..average condition..., there is a nice auto sedan for sale in perth advertised on this forum with mods @23k IMO this is a good car and price i have 6 r34`s atm 3 manual 3 auto ..nothing wrong with the auto`s BUT the manual`s are just brilliant..i have owned over 50 skylines in the last 10 years and the NEO manual r34 is easily the most refined/smooth engine gearbox combination +brilliant ratio`s and syncos of all the skylines by far .. in my opinion but once again ..there is nothing wrong with the tiptronic

This blue is certainly the standout colour for 34`s...i`m trying to blame PEAR for this car..i imported his last year ,2000 coupe with 18`s ...parked it in my driveway and watched passing drivers get whiplash when they spotted it.....HAD TO HAVE ONE.. i am really enjoying the SEVS/RAWS scheme that allows the sedans and stageas to be part of the scene now.Just because you start a familly you don`t need to sell your skyline and buy some local market crap anymore ..just trade to a nice sedan or a fat wagon had the eyelids with it ..paint even matches
