fix the speedo and you will fix the hicas problem
gtr i had did the same ...speedo stopped working ,steering got heavy, hicas light on...took the dash out ..refitted the dicky do da in speedo cable and everthing was fixed
hey saft...any idea what my 260rs should do on std boost
..waiting on pfc and avcr before taking it to the track ..but curious as to what time it would do pretty much stock(pipe and pods)
if you intend to insure the car ...declare market value at rego @ the same amount you want it insured for
smart ass insurer can can use rego declared value for payout
has happened to mate of mine...20k car declared @ 10k (for rego stamp duty) insurer paid out 10k only
i have 3 gtr`s atm ... stagea will outbrake them all including one with braided lines and fancy coloured pads
not sure if its just brembos but disc/pads(genuine)and calipers are superior combination to any gtr i have driven
sk or any stagea owner thinking about upgrade can drive mine and find out for themselves...
you should be surprised
just for the record ..the brembo setup on my 260 is nothing short of brilliant.
i have r32gtr driver atm ...stagea would outbrake it by a the proverbial mile ... no comparison really
if you really want to pull up a stagea i suggest you copy this autech /brembo setup
my0.02 worth
if you just drill 3mm hole at each end..open the boot water will drain out..and will in future if holes are not blocked...saves the hassle of removing..
400 k`s a tank in 2.5ltr stagea ...i`m starting to feel better ..i thought it was just my guzzler
not sure about the "super touring wagon" blurb now... will have to stop 3 times for fuel just to visit mum and dad in sydney...so its super touring to the next garage..fill up blah blah blah
i guess if i`m short of cash ..i better fly virgin
260rs got 380k`s on 65litres ..air con 3 passengers..i thought that was pretty horrid ...reasonably normal driving..getting injectors ultrasoniced to see if that improves anything but realise 2.6 on any boost(120kph+) will suck hard
yours works out at about 325 per 65ltr ..sounds like a bit much
