  1. no
  2. best way is with a rattle gun. but most people without a rattle gun just do it up as tight as they can with a breaker bar, giving it sudden, sharp jolts until your sure its not coming off. torque setting: F.T.
  3. im gonna say your dash might need replacing. but before you spend the money you can always try taking the dash apart and giving it a clean. or bash the shit out of it until it works
  4. well done for getting your car working bro. everything looses voltage over distance. a .1V drop shouldnt cause any issues
  5. cleaning the throttle body and AAC valve cant hurt. but id still consider replacing the temperature sensor
  6. im going to assume your car is totally stock? id consider replacing the temperature sensor my 32 did it because it had a shit aftermarket ecu tune. up yours chiptourque!
  7. well done on the find bro. and thanks for the update
  8. skylines arent popular drift cars just because they look good. back off the the throttle
  9. the electrician found what i missed completely... i had checked the battery terminal BUT i didnt check the little connections coming off the main one. picture speaks for itself
  10. could it simply be the gauge?
  11. im getting a mobile electrician in today. ill let you know what he finds
  12. got this problem again. so i guess the first time i was wrong... it wasnt the timer. ive tested every relay and check every fuse and im still getting f**k all. does anybody have a clue where to start looking?
  13. all are factory markings, they just changed symbols for some reason when moving from 32 to 33 if your handy with a soldering iron, you may be able to use those s2 coilpacks. in 32 and 33s1 the ecu sends power to the ignitor which allows the coil to ground itself (makes a spark). if you take the power that was meant to be going to the ignitor pack and route it directly to the coilpack, you may have solved your problem
  14. 32: E = trigger + = +12V - = ground 33: IB = trigger + = +12V G = ground
  15. place a spring over the actuator countering the effect of the internal spring. there is always a way
  16. at the vantage automotive training school in sydney they have one. i was in training next door and heard the thing being revved off its tits. ive never heard a more brutal, humbling sound in my life
  17. wind the boost down
  18. got a question for everyone. if i get this project working (all hooked up n shit) how many people would be interested in using it? just reply with a simple "interested". thanks
  19. try setting your fuel pump to full pressure all the time. i had a problematic dropping resistor in my stag that wasnt letting enough fuel through, hence the stalling when more air is introduced. i think on 32's its the silver aluminium box thats bolted to the left hand strutt tower. try simply disconnecting the plug
  20. lol nar you wont have exploding fuel tanks any time soon. just block up the hoses and your good to go.
  21. not important
  22. batch fire. as far as i know, this is how a stock ecu fires the injectors. i agree. being able to shorten the pulse width would be more effective and is certainly something to look into. this way, its less likely for the user to run their engine lean, but i will see what i can do for you i plan on having the circuit turn on through a series of user adjustable gates (adding more potentiometers). more gates may be added to provide a series of smaller 'step ups' in the injector pulse please tell more more about this air flow cut. where can i find more info on it? does it mean that the afm can only measure so much air before it is overwhelmed?
  23. been working on a project the last few days. in short, its a device that allows the injectors to stay open longer. i made a video about it and id like everybody to watch it because i think its easier to explain that way. the project isnt finished. what you see in the video is the heart of the project, all strung out on the breadboard. there is still much id like to do but i'd like to see how many people are interested suggestions and questions are welcomed
  24. do you have anything else leeching power from the same circuit?
  25. it only spins when extra cooling is needed. particularly when your sitting on idle for a long time
