By the looks of the back of the unit itself, definitely a hack and electrical tape job..I will investigate the antenna wiring when it stops raining (if it stops). Also sent eonon an email regarding this, see what they have to say. If anything.

Your gonna have to get your hands on a couple ball joints as the bottom brackets (supplied) stick up about 2-3 mm too big.

Dampers I got off ebay from the states. Bonnet closes flush and perfectly without and scraping or touching of the parts / dampers. I was worried that it wouldn't have enough clearance but worked out to be enough room to fit. The hood closes and opens effortlessly just like a boot, it gives just before it closes to give you a nice thud to lock the bonnet. I should make a video for you all to see.

Took a set of r35 carbon fiber hood dampeners and fit my them on my r34 GTT Time taken to install 30 min Total cost $90.00

yer mate Only thing is i have the go into the wheel well as going through the fender isn't sturdy enough and i don't think there is enough room for a nut.

Try one of the big brands then, JVC, Alpine, Kenwood etc. Find the one you like, most now days have all the same features.
