Make: Nissan Model: 1995 R33 GT-R Milage: ~150000 (jap import obviously, and speedo replaced, so anybody's guess really) Transmission: Stock 5sp Colour: Factory Black Location: Wagga Wagga Complied? Yes RWC supplied? No Currently registered? No Price: $21000ono Contact: PM, 0419 448 212, or [email protected] Comments / Modifications: Regretful sale of beloved car. I bought this car in 2002, and am the second Australian owner. Previous owner also has been on this board. For the last 2 years I have been living overseas, and will be for one more year. Car has been in storage for this time, gradually accumulating dust, and parts. Due to the km, it is likely that the car needs an engine rebuild in the near future, and this is reflected in the fact that it burns a lot of oil, and occasionally makes knocking noises. Ie, I am basically selling it as if the engine is dead, and this is reflected in the price. For the same reasons, the car is currently unregistered. As I am overseas, and at the moment on a limited income, it is not worth my while to go through the hassle of registering the car. The car is registerable, and I am happy to do this for anyone who purchases the car but the cost will be born by the purchaser. Everything else about the car is in good condition, however. In terms of mods, the list that I can think of follows: Power FC incl boost control and HC Blitz SUS stainless pods, factory intake also included HKS turbo actuators, but factory turbos HKS elbows HKS front pipes 3.5in cat back exhaust with twin cannons Full whiteline handling kit (castor and camber adjustment bushes, front and rear, adjustable swaybars front and rear)) Whiteline subframe alignment bushes (pineapples) New Buddy Club coilovers, have only been on the car while I have been away, so barely any km travelled at all DBA 4000 series slotted rotors front and rear, with DS2500 pads in factory calipers. Motul RBF600 brake fluid Genuine series 3 xenon headlights retrofitted Stock interior including factory airbag. Nismo 320kph cluster fitted, factory cluster also included Panasonic Head unit, front pioneer splits, rear deck pioneer 6.5in coaxials, Clarion amp and Boston 10in sub in boot Torque split controller Will add others as I think of them. Images: Not interested in any swaps, nor any low-ball offers. If it doesn't sell buy the time I come back, I'll just rebuild it and use it myself.

There is another way to do this, which may prove better for those with HID lights and don't want them to turn off. It involves a simple modification to the light switch. I don't know if this works on R32s, as I have an R33. Before mod: Low beam Hi beam Remove your lights/indicator stalk from the column, and looking at the back, you should see something like this: There are two copper tracks that you need to bridge with solder - they are marked with red circles on the following images: Once done, it will look something like this (excuse my poor soldering technique) Then reinstall into the car. You should now have dual-headlight hi-beam goodness.

How bout an SAU ACT business thread?

I'm a doctor at canberra hospital, which probably accounts for why I never get out and meet up with any other 'line owners -
I can vouch for these units - have had one installed in my R33 for about 6 months now, and it has been one of the best things I have done to the car. Left on "1" the car drives totally normally, with progressively more cornering grip until about "5" or "6" in the dry. In the wet, on "10" when the light is permanently green, I could not get the car to oversteer at all when I tramped it around a roundabout on hotmix asphalt in pouring rain, although my car is pretty mild (only 240awkw). As has been previously mentioned, it does not help with launching in a straight line, is only for those who want more grip around corners. You do get a bit more understeer in the higher modes in the dry, but easily dialed out with suspension adjustments/swaybars etc. Installation took 30mins, and is very unobtrusive - on my 33, I just have a switch mounted behind the gearleaver to change modes. Definitely a quality gizmo.

Dammit!! I cannot believe there's another cruise/BBQ and yet again I'm working on monday.
-
Very cool. I would swap my 2DR GTR for one of these in a heartbeat! I have only ever seen one for sale in Aus, but unfortunately it was a bit beyond my finances at the time. You're a lucky guy.
-
No, not at all. Despite that, it was a good run. I should try to come up for more.
-
I'm coming up from Canberra for the cruise (and a few other things) - if you can confirm shell hasn't sent it and can get it to me, I may be able to bring it for you. However, I don't like your chances as I'm leaving around 11 in the am.
