  1. hmm i get where ur coming from, and i hate when that happens. Sorry to anoyy you mate, i searched here like 10 times different key words and it showed nothing , did google search all it was converting from N/A to turbo not the opposite. Sorry again
  2. Hey guys, i know it sounds like a strange question to ask, but im looking to save abit of cash here, so the question is how would i go about converting a R34 GTT to a non-turbo, just because i've found alot of the GT's for sale are expensive and many are automatic. My girlfriend is searching for a R34, and shes still on her P1s so shes got ages to go, but im just woundering what would be involved, ive done abit of searching over the net havnt found much, but im guessing you would have to get a RB25 non-turbo exhaust manifold and new pipes to air filter from the throttle body, and remove the front mount ( if there is one ), probably alot more to it like ECU stuff etc. Well shes expecting me to do it, so gonna get a heads up. Well any info would be sick. Thanks in advance guys Lucas.
  3. I think he got it of someone he knew and he saw it as a good deal
  4. Hey guys thank-you for your replies and I understand how stupid this was after I posted it, I was trying to be brief and well that didn't go down well . So ill explain so it makes a bit more sence . When I said " it was all shocking " , the car was purchased at $5,500 so you can just imagine the condition it is in. He explained to me the car is going to be a long build and his budget is unknown all I know is he has money to blow . Now I know about pricing on most things, but I have not the slightest idea on anything to do with suspension and braking systems so I ran to these forums for help, ( without doing any other research, which is my bad ) . Now the car is being used mainly for city driving, but he wishes to eventually go to the track a few times so he wishes to have a setup which will hold up well . I took a look at his rotors this afternoon and the have been machined a tad bit to much and his pads were destroyed and unfortunately nothing is open really on a Sunday. So as far as I know his aiming to replace it all sometime soon, and spend big $$$ so if those questions can be answered now should be all sweet . Oh and sorry for my effortless post above, and stupid spelling Lucas
  5. Hey Guys, Had a bloke i use to work with come over, and he showed off his new R34 GT-T, unfortunatly the whole thing is shocking, but he asked me to post this up and here is what he is asking for What is a best suspention setup for Street use? ( Plus price aprox ) What is the best brake setup you can get ? ( he wants the best of the best ) and also he wants to see some photos of Rims, these are what his asking for: - Bronze ( preferably with a chrome rim ) - 18" - 19" - Small Dished in Rear. Thanks guys hope to hear back soon Lucaas

  9. yes i cleaned the surface up perfectally and it was made of thin materials, and i was using a mild steel wire for mild steel frame, it seemed to work but it just didnt look neat it was spitting heaps
  10. Well for christmas i got a Mig Welder that selects either Gas or Gasless to weld, well i had broken one of the steel supports for my bed frame that sits about half way in the middle of the bed, so i decided it was a perfect chance to text out and get a feel for the welder, well the welder at the beginning was shooting holes and from what my mates had taught me this normally means the welder is to hot , so i turned it down it kept shooting holes, and at the lowest setting it was still semi-shooting but i managed to weld it up, could this be something to do with it not being ran on gas. By the way i am using a 15 AMP power point so its not under powered

    Rb25 - R32

Mine did that when my intercooler piping shot off on my VL, although its a different motor its still a RB so should be the same thing. so im pretty sure its a problem with your vacuum, so check all your pipes and hoses, Also as Krayzie32 said check your Air Flow Meter a quick little clean out, should hopefully fix the problem, all the best mate.
