Have a look on EBAY USA. I found a seller that sells new ones for $180 plus shipping. I have previously cleaned mine out and it is still working too. So if you haven't found the guide on here I definitely recommend trying that before you spend the cash.

Hey Guys, I am after some assistance from anyone who can tell me where is the best place in Melbourne to get a spare Key. I have Just been to Nissan Brighton who quoted $453 to get a blank key and then said $150 to reprogram. This is obviously expensive but from reading this thread seems to be standard from Nissan and I have searched ebay, import monster etc but cant seem to find a spare second hand. Only problem is they told me they can't guarantee that the Reprogram will work but will charge me the $150 regardless. I am having my alarm system replaced also as I only have one remote and can't seem to find a replacement remote due to it being a Chinese Brand Alarm currently fitted. Will replacing the alarm cause any dramas with the factory key / immobilizer? Any help would be greatly appreciated Regards, Noel.

Hey Guys, I am currently having issues with my drivers side window which decides not to go up sometimes. I have done an extensive search and read all the forums on how to pull apart door and clean motor but think that I would be better off just sourcing the motor from the US and getting a professional to install. I was wondering if anyone knows of a good Auto Electrician in the Bayside area or southern suburbs that they could recommend. I thought I would ask before just picking one out of the Yellow Pages. Looks Sweet. I installed a spec.doc a few months back but opted for the video out version and I think that it is well worth the money. It would be good if you could get the steering wheel controls and video but it seems to be one or the other. I put this vid on youtube for another member a few months back that might help a few people see what it does. V35 DAS Mine doesn't work for hands free. if the phone rings it fades out music, plays ringtone but then it reverts to the phone speaker and mic. You can put on speaker phone but then you have to shout as the Mic is in the bottom cradle. hope that helps.

Hey guys, I changed the car battery a couple days ago and now every time I unlock the car and open the door the hazard lights flash 14 times for no reason. Even if I open the door when car is running it does it. As I bought the car with the after market alarm I have no Idea what type it is. Can anyone tell me if they have come across this before or where the most likely place in the car the alarm is mounted so I can find the model/brand. Thanks, Noel

Raween, The installer (Chad) asked me not to say how much it cost as the cost can vary from car to car but I can say that he was extremely helpful and was very well priced. I bought the Tuner second hand of a member on this site, I bought spec doc from the US, I bought cables from Chris Rogers and more from JAYCAR in Cheltenham. I Think the whole thing including parts and install cost me around a $1000 and that also included Rianto doing the English menu conversion. So I thought this was very reasonable considering the TV now works, the Video and Audio from Ipod work and I have FM stations. If you go down this path you will need: Tv Tuner Fm Band Expander (if not already done) Spec Dock Cable from Chris Rogers Av leads to run from boot (new Tuner) to spec Dock and another short av lead as the lead from Chris has female plugs and so does the old tuner which you have to link in to so you need a male to male cable to join them If you decide you want to do it I can chat to you later on and tell you how it all hooks up and you can decide if you do yourself or pay installer. I just figured I did not know how to pull panels apart easily to run cables and new antennas nicely hidden away. Cheers

Looks like all sorted now. Seems just battery was disconnected when installed screen and I had lost all stations and then must have been in area with no reception when initially tried to re search. Thanks anyway Chris. Appreciate you reading post. Speaker issue seems separate b Noel.

Thanks Chris but that's not what I wanted to hear. . HAHA. I think I am going to have get in contact with the window installer and ask him what he did with the wiring and hope that it is accessible without pulling back out otherwise I am in a lot of trouble. Does it sound like it could be aomething along those lines from your expert opinion chris? I am going to call the bloke who installed it all for me and see if he has any ideas or just book it in for a trial and error repair. Thanks, Noel.

Hey guys I recently had my front windcreen replaced with a new non OEM screen and now my Asuka TV tuner picks up no channels and my spec Dock is not functioning correctly, When I play Ipod the music fades in and out randomly between the 4 corners of the speakers. I am Assuming it is something to do with the new windscreen not having the heading elements in it and the installer not earthing or doing something to the wires. Can someone please tell me if they have come accross this problem before. Thanks. Noel.

Its the second one mate. It has the RCA outputs but these connect back to an aftermarket Asuka tv tuner in the boot which is piggy backing the stock tuner. So I am unsure if you can use the RCA without an aftermarket tuner. You would have to ask an expert which I am definately not. HAHA. Good luck

Hey Raween, The ipod dock is called a Spec.Dock and i purchased from the US after seeing a few people on here had tried them. The site is www.Specdock.com and it was about $200 to purchase and then just install. There is two options, 1 lets you use your steering wheel controls and no video out, 2 lets you have video out but no steering wheel controls, I wanted video out so i went that option. I live in southern suburbs and went to a place called Stylyn Car audio in Brighton. This was only because there is a Stylyn car audio on other side of town which everyone keeps talking about but if was just to far. The blokes name was Chad and he did my full install after never having done one before and he was extremely helpful and well priced. If you want any more info let me know. Cheers, Noel

Hey Phat I have recently had my tv tuner converted, fm expander installed and I installed whats called a spec Doc for the Ipod. I have put a short video on to youtube to show how it works. I also had the trip computer and stuff converted and the handbrake lock for TV disabled (illegal to drive while on in most states). I am in Melbourne but I am sure Chris Rogers is the man to speak to in QLD if need to get converted. Cheers, Noel

Thanks Andy, That's good news for me,seeing as its already ordered. . HAHA I am a little confused now though as this is all very new to me. I was under the impression that I would need to change over all 3 of the cables from the OEM tuner (2 aerial leads and Main wiring loom) and connect to the Asuka.. Am I wrong am I? The cable from Chris is on its way and from what I gather that plugs in to the empty spot on the OEM and has RCA plugs that come out. Does this plug in to the Asuka? then I run a completely separate set of standard RCA's to the SpecDock (assume down the left side trim also so get flat leads)? What about the aerial connections? I figured I will need to do some cutting of the old connections and make new ones for the Asuka. I suppose the easy question is do you know of any photos of it installed? I haven't found any of the Asuka installed on the Forum This is photo of my tuner. Pulled out other day to try make sense of all the stuff i've read. Noel
