benm yeah mine is the black gtst. yeah the tyres grabbed like anything. just when i really launched hard the thing blew up. with a twin lplate clutch on now im worried about the box..

i had the worst night on wed. ha a few very average runs only to blow my diff last run and have a $300 tow home. damn mt radials so sticky! finding it very hard to get my new setup going.. cant get a decent launch..

i have had 260rwkw and been reving to 7500 for over a year. have now upgraded to a 700hp turbo and rev to 8000. still no problems (had this setup for 3 months)..

is this a worthwhile upgrade? sure its an improvement but very minor from what i have heard... there is not a big differerence between caliper sizes so i cant see how they would perform that much better??

1.5 bar? 600hp you obviously have no idea. I had this turbo previously and there is not too much point boosting it over 1.3 bar. you will make some more power over that but very little.

no was a single plate 1600kg clamp load clutch. was plenty good for 260rwkw but with 300 didnt last a couple of weeks. guilt toy what clutch do you have?

Hi, have my r33 gtst fitted with a hks gt3540. currently making 305rwkw on 17psi and just fried the clutch (single plate). what clutch is a good option for me considering i am going to rebuid and boost up to make around 350-400rwkw. i am currently considering either os giken twin plate or tripple plate clutch but am worried about my gearbox as i like to take it to the drags and cant afford to be constantly replacing box's. what have you guys done on your gtst's?? thanks..

Roy that rb sounds very nice above.. I have been in both a sr and rb20 equipped s13 and am more impressed with the sr20. rb20 would have more potential if you were willing to spend the $$ and in my opinion sounds much much better than the sr. i find the sr a much more punchy engine with better response than the rb20.

have had this problem happen previously where i just fitted a 2nd hand clutch pedal box unit, but now the problem has happened again and im determined to fix it. what has happened is that one of the clutch pedal box brackets have bent or cracked due to the pressing in of the clutch as i have a heavy clutch (not factory). has anyone else had this problem? how did you fix it? does nismo or any of the other brands have a heavy duty replacement? thanks..
