well the time has come to upgrade. i am currently in the process of upgrading from my HKS GT-RS turbo to something bigger so the setup is for sale. This setup has everything ready to bolt up to your R33 or R32 gtst and all the parts are the best on the market. All parts have done around 25,000 kms and are in perfect working order. My car made 260rwkw on 17-18psi and ran a 12.3 quarter mile with much more in it. It includes: - HKS GT-RS turbo (latest release from HKS - very good street/midrange turbo) - stainless manifold (not china copy - no cracks or leaks, has been machined before being mounted to ensure perfect fit). - nismo 550cc injectors - CES spit dump pipe (best quality dump pipe on the market, has been hpc coated to minimise heat). - custom stainless alluminium pipe from turbo mouth to pod filter (detailed in picture). All the parts are in perftect working order and will be available in around 10 days time when the mechainic pulls them out. Im asking $3200 for the setup, this all cost me almost twice that. abcent it looks genuine to me. the greddy sign is just a sticker that comes seperately in the box. this allows you to powder coat/polish the plenum without ruining the badge/sticker.

midnight racer do you have any pics to show how the greddy gauge looks at night? how does it light up? is it EL or do just the numbers light up?

2BNVS the best place to get all this done and speak to the guys about the options is competition coatings, they are west sydney somewhere. have had a few mates use them.

ok. i have had the same problem for ages now and drives me nuts even though i try to ignore it. i get knock around 60-110 depending on driving circumstances. i have not heard any pinging sounds. strange thing is that the car has been dyno tunes 2 times now and has pinged after both tunes. but on the dyno both times the tuners were sure there was absolutely no knock (below 30). i have been caning with these knock levels on 20psi and 260rwkw for a year or so now and have had no problems. car does not miss a beat. i am still very keen to figure this out..

im installing a 700hp .82 unit. i wont be lowering compression with a headgasket. you would not want to run more than 17psi with the standard engine. if you are rebuilding i would actually raise the compression to increase response.

slywine that is a stupid question. last i checked all gtst's are 5 stud. unless previous owner downgraded to 4 stud.

am selling my r33 gtst el dial set. bought privately before, has been on my car for around 1 year (approx). condition is as new (these things are not generally subject to wear and tear). It lights up blue or green which is controller by a little switch with a installed dimmer. Reason for sale is that i bought a nismo cluster and its no longer needed. I can sell the EL dials seperate (pull them off the cluster) but would prefer to sell as a complete set. they read accurate and are in perfect working order. cluster has around 150,000kms. pics below. after $300 for the pair i am located in sydney.

dude i looked into this. with all the messing around you are better off going a greddy or similar style plenum

kits and all are fine up to a point. as soon as the GTR badge hits the panels of a gtst its becomes sad. and there are soo many monkeys driving their badged up gtst thinking they are hot shit. i personally dont see the point in spending money making a slow car look fast. all these gtst getting around with 160rwkw looking plastic fantastic dressed with bodykits turns me off. next thing they pull up to you and turn up their subs till your car starts to shake. gay shit.

i dont mind the s15 gearbox, very soft feel to it and smooth.

luvs it, i take it you are the one selling the big hp r33 gtr. read through your thread many times to see how the sale is going. i personally think if a person were really that interested they would call or PM you for a contact number and take it from there. when i saw my car advertised, recieved some photos, looked at it few days after and went out to buy it with cash/bank cheque. no internet chat required. its a nice gtr, good luck with the sale.

Hi just a few questions: - what comp pistons - is that with oil pump? which one? - 1/2 inch head studs, do you have a arp stud kit to go with them? - also this will work fine with a rb25det head? thanks.

from what i know the gt3040 will not fit on a low mount setup? a highmount is the go. a lot of questions but still no solid interest.. only 6 days to go.

whats it like now that fridays have started? is it busy like before? how many runs did you all get in?

they are made out of steam pipe. they can be coated (black) or heat wrapped at an extra cost (around $300).

waz. no i dont have pics. i have messaged 6boost but have had no reply. if you are intending on keeping stock turbo not too much point in getting one of these manifolds. im not 100% sure he will maintain stock positioning with the manifold.

sly33 whats involved with the hks step2? i am considering going a tomei 2.8 on my rb25. just 8,500 seems a tad expensive..

abo bob currently i am using a greddy plenum with a rb25det throttle body (need the greddy adaptor). there is a pic attached. the thing i am worried about is the piping and throttle body (2.5") being too small as well as the cooler. dont want to get the thing going then realise its not cooling to the levelit should be..

yeah understood but what is too big? i intend to make 400rwkw so is 110mm too big? its going to see the creek a few times too..
