    Just purchased a Garrett GT3540 (GT35R) for my R33 GTST. pulling off the old HKS GT-RS turbo for some more power . the turbo is rated at 700hp and i have it with a 0.82 rear housing so boost comes on reasonably early. Has anyone seen one of these on an R33 gtst? Also motor is standard internals, only have bigger cams. Anyone else running 320+ rwkw on the standard motor? How long have you been doing this for?

    They are the worst built cars i have ever seen! some of the newer ones look good but they are so problematic its not funny. Oh yeah and my old mans alfa runs on 3 cylinders also. has been off the road much more than it has been on. Hopeless car!

    I CANT BEAT A 2.3 60" TIME WITH MY R33 GTST. POWER COMES ON MUCH TOO HARD WITH THE GT-RS AND JUST SPINS THE TYRES 1ST AND 2ND.. NEED TO GET THE SLICKS WORKING.

    When i had a hand controller in i read high knock levels, the dash light also comes on. i have had knock over 100. i have been to reputable tuners who used stethescope's and other knock sensors. i think if knock hit 100 or more you would probably hear it? by the way where is the knock sensor? can you buy HKS or aftermarket knock sensors??

    yes you can. i am doing it at the moment, my mate has done it. well worth it. easy to fit just need to make 2 brackets either side.

    im still really sceptical about using it. As sydneykid says it does not corrode the fuel system etc and he has done tests, i heard that this will only happen after a long period of time. e.g you leave your car near the beach once it wont rust. but after years it will start to show. ?? what does everyone think?

    Just spent over an hour reading this thread.. tired as hell. sorry if i missed it but if the RB25/30 conversion is done, can a R33 gtst power FC tune it all up or do you have to go with another type of comp?

    yeah that pipe holds up fine. i have changed it due to looks. you should not have problems with it.

    the other night i removed my dash in order to clean it up to paint it. the rubber coating all over it seems very hard to come off, have managed toget it off withmy hands/a coin. are there any cleaning agents or any other methods to remove this rubber material? i need to get into the small cracks. ta

    I have 6 555cc Apexi injectors for a R33 GTST RB25DET. 5 work perfectly, 1 of them stopped working on the dyno so i swapped for a set of nismo ones off the shelf to finish the tune. I have had them for approx 20,000kms. Good condition. Need some cash asap so quick sale at $500 these retail for around $160 per injector from nengun or the like. Offers considered.
