  6. well that really depends on what power output you are after and what turbo/boost/compression you intend to run in your engine. I just got a set of 256deg cams for my rb25det which previously made 240rwkw on 1.2bar, with these should make around 260-270rwkw.
  7. I dont think u need to remove your bumper to take off the headlights. The actual headlight asembly is easy to take off from the car. But no-one has answered the question of how to take off the front plastic cover from the headlight assembly. Can it be properly re-sealed? I have cleaned my light 100's of times with that polish from Unique Auto Sports and it is just a heap of crap. It works and looks good for a day or two then bang, yellow again!
  8. i got a set of custom welded aluminium piping off my gtst. just took it off the other week as i upgraded to a bigger plenum. Drop me a PM if your interested.
  9. Here is my bay, not completed yet.. give it a few more day and a touch up polish and it will be good enough to eat off..
  10. YOU CAN EASILY GET THAT KIND OF POWER WITH AN INTERNAL GATE TURBO. WOULD BE THE BETTER AND CHEAPER OPTION OF BOLTING A SMALLER TURBO OR A HIGHFLOW OF THE STANDARD ITEM TO YOU FACTORY MANIFOLD.
  11. GunMetalR33, when i had my GTRS turbo installed and producing the same power as you on 1.3bar (19spi) i realised after a it got a bit colder i got slight knock. only way i detected this is on my dial display. i dont have a hand controller but i could not hear anything so it was not pinging. would only happen at high rpm. the tuner reduced the boost, richened it up and took timing back few degrees and it made 230@the wheels on 1.2 bar and does not ping anymore. I was told that my exhaust manifold (factory) was too restrictive for the power/airflow. i have just added cams and plenum and new manifold so i will see how it goes back on 19psi now. Ill try repost next wednesday when they retune and let you know.
  12. mmmm yum yum. I would sit and drool over that for hours..
  13. why dont u just spray it with degreaser and polish the tank?
  14. i heard the bar was just bent a bit etc to make it fit, was not 100% sure though. where can i get an east bear one like that white 33 in the pic? they make them for series 1?
  15. i have seen a photo previously of someone that had a GTR bar fitted to a R33 gtst and it looked flawless
  16. YEAH APARENTLY THEY ARE WIDER AS THE GTR HAS FLARED GUARDS.. JUST WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT I WILL HAVE TO GO THROUGH IF I DO IT AND A GOOD PLACE TO TAKE IT TO..
  17. anyone??
  18. I love the NSX exceot for that fugly rear end. nothing like that beautiful R34 mmmmmmmmmmmm.
  19. 8k? thats impossible unless everything is stolen! i did all that work and cost me in excess of 12,000 and labour was pretty much free
  20. as above, is it possible to modify an original GTR front bar to suit a GTST? (R33 in this example).. How is this done? Reason being i am sick of the cheapo fibreglass cracking non-stop, just want to get it done properly.. Any pics?? Ta

  22. Im personally in the process of having a GReddy plenum fitted. the main reason to justify this: stock plenum/piping positioning look shitty and dodgy and are a major headache to move everytime you wish to change plugs or get under them. i think for that reason alone it is worth the $1000
  23. performance wise i dont think the plenum would do much to a stock engine, but when making 400+ hp im sure it would be of benefit.. i am just having one installed only due to the fact that the standard R33 piping looks carp and is a headache when doing stuff to the engine, i am sick of pulling the piping apart non-stop..
