    Getting my car tuned next thursday 16th December at unigroup engineering... Just need a power fc hand controller to lend till that saturday 18th. Is there anyone that can lend me a hand controller for those 3 days. I will pick up and return and will leave something as a deposit for it (cash if necessary). The car is a R33 gtst series 1 and i live in sydney eastern suburbs... Thanks!

    curly_fry_44 i am looking around 400-450hp at the flywheel, cost me around $15,000 and i got labour for next to nothing through a mate. To get that figure from your car and do it through a performance shop you will be looking around $25,000

    Not really concerned abot economy etc. If i start to get pinging will i be able to detect it easily? never heard it before so have no idea what to look out for... Just planning on using the car as transport for a week.

    On tuesday picking up my r33 gtst after weeks with the mechanics. Had a turbo upgrade did pump and injectors etc... I have done everything that is possible to make this setup run at its optimum, only thing is that i cant get my power fc tuned for approx 10 days. My question is is it safe to drive with standard computer on 7psi boost till i get it tuned? can i still give it a bit when driving, dont want to run lean...

    I got a CES split dump pipe. They work a treat!

    I dont think engineering them does anything. I have heard of heaps of people with certificates getting done, although some get off.

    Big Datto if you are after something streetable with around 130rwkw why dont you go the GT-RS. I have seen this thing in action and it is honestly the best turbo for a street driven RB25. at 1 bar you will get around 250rwkw and there is absolutely NO LAG! I have one on my car now and just waiting for my front bar and oil cooler and clutch to be installed, before i can see what it has.

    easy way out of it is just buy a turbosmart bleed valve and simply up the boost to around 10psi. Better way is to get an exhaust, intercooler then boost it up around 12psi and tune up with an air/fuel controller or computer. Depends how far you want to go, and how much $$$ you want to spend...

    $700, why so much? Though it would only set you back top around $300!
