    i think you are better off with a bosch 044 pump. slightly more expensive but is aparently a much better pump for the money.

    Rc33 how much did u pay for your bosch fuel pump? People how much do they retail for nowdays? I can get one for $450 is that a good price or fairly average?

    A friend of mine who is a mechanic told me a way around getting defected or at least a way of getting cops out of your engine bay. Its a hassle but i think it would work. The level to open your bonnet disconnect it, then fix it elsewhere so the original level does not work. If they ask you to pop your bonnet you simply cant. and thats not your problem. Oppinions?

    Exactly! As far as i see it: trackday will cost around $80 but also brake pads, petrol, time off work and the rest if i did miss something will equate to a $400 dollar day for some people. I do intend on going to trackdays and the rest when my car is finally sorted, so hopefully by the new year.

    I hate when people have a bitch about the situations other find themselves in. i am sure everyperson or the vast mmajority of people on these forums has had a illegal street race or speeding etc... He did the crime now he has to do the time, its that simple. Not everyone can afford to or has the time to go to "team track day"

    Jnr R32 i have had this. You will get 6 months instant suspension (mandatory), and then if you lose ypur licence as a result of points it will be another 3 months. If you have a good rec go to court and try a plead for leniency.

    I have r33 gtst. fmic, full exhaust, dump pipe, boost cont. get a safc or full computer as the stock computer goes spastic when u boost it and usually dumps heaps of fuel or retards timing. i have a power fc at home but waiting for my turbo till i put it in.

    I installed a dump pipe month back. Used only a gasket, now it is leaking. Big hassle have to take it all apart and start again, i suggest u use both gasket and glue

    FATGTS-R i have same prob. went to a performance shop and they said "airflow meter mmaxing out". so i tried other airflow meter's and still problem and tried mine on mates cars and they ran fine. You know what it is: most performance shops could not give a ****, and cant be bothered putting decent time and effort unless you are mates with them. They all do something different and charge through the roof!

    Dayne u can post up in the Wanted To Buy section and list te parts you are after and hope someone has them for sale. A place to go that should have everything you need is Just Jap bbut that seems a bit far for you. Not sure about anything in canberra... good luck.

    lindsey i am aiming for similar power and will get a exedy heavy duty clutch. best call a few places and ask what they have... I am tempted to go for a twin plate but it costs too much...

    CHRISGERO do a search for "missfire" and a heap of stuff will come up. It is most likely to be the computer dumping to much fuel or plugs or boost cut. It usually happens on a cold night. you should innvest in a power fc.

    wrxhoon when you did it was it evident that it was an uneven surface? I am also worried about folding the sides under so it looks flush. what glue to you use?
