Your car is missfiring. No big problem. I had the same problem. 1st thing to do is check your spark plugs and change them if need be, that should fix it if not it could be your coil packs (not in many cases). Get your car on a dyno if its other things they can tell you from that. My problem ended up being that my Air Flow meter was maxed out only on 10psi so it can be a variety of thing. If you want to read more do a search for "missfiring" and read till you are content.

I think once it is wired up you must adjust the setting to your car. As far as i know you drive along and adjust the speed at 40km then 80km and so forth... But i dont even know how to use the basic functions... mindflux if you can send me a copy of the english instructions to bsrzich@hotmail.com that would be great. Just got a HKS Type 1 turbo timer installed into my r33 gtst. The speed and rev settings dont work as they are not callibrated with my car. Does anyone have instructions indicating how to do this and also instructions with how to use the unit? Thanks...

Does anyone here use the specified nissan oil? I cant remember the numbers and all but it is made for the skyline engine's isn't it? i thinks its '40' but not 100%. Just like to hear your thoughts....

I cant stand when the autolock goes on at 25kph, later to pull over and the passenger tries to open the door with no avail, so he/she starts pulling at the latch like a maniac! That really shits me!

i would not drive it until u change the oil. i let my oil drain overnight. Thats what my mechanic told me to do and it worked. It will take a couple of minutes till sound deadens. Dont drive it hard for a while after u do the oil change. My mate had the same problem in his vl after it had not been driven. He just booted it a few times and it was ok after. I would not do that.

I had the same problem about 2 months ago. I think its cause i didnt drive it as you say. Change the oil, start her up and put ur foot on the gas a bit when u turn it on. I did this 2 times and it was ok. U probably have a bad smell coming out of ur exhaust if u have 1?
