How do you know or find out which coil pack it is? I have taken mine out before and have no clue what to look for if they are bad... Anyone???

i know exactly what to do. Have been in similar situation. The best chance you got is if you have a clean record. Anyways get character references from people you know so that they are written in a way that supports your argument. The character references should be from your parents, and other people preferably in government jobs. If you have a bad driving record dont bother, as if you lose court fees add onto the fine ($60). Dress to impress and make sure you call him "your worship"

I think the turbosmart is the better of the 2 just from what i have heard... It will be ok running around 10-12 psi with standard cooler etc... I would not push it much over that.

There are already cops with XR6 Turbos on the street... There have been for a while now.

Dice i have exactly the same problem as you do. It will run good for a day or so but on a cold night the missfire with start when the boost is up. Its like a popping out of your exhaust right? I will change my plugs and get a power fc when i get a chance and have a look at my coils. Does anyone know how or where to go to get your coils checked out? Last i remember when i took mine out my mechanic said that they are a bit burnt???

Pentae if it works dont fix it. Rebuild if you are after big power gains and therefore will need to strengthen internals i.e pistons etc... I rebuilt my engine back in standard form and it cost me $6,000. From what i know that is around the benchmark you will be looking at for a rebuild...

Ok here goes... I have had my apexi rsm (blue screen model) in my car for some time now. All works fine except the speed/quarter mile things... Anything to do with the speed reading does not work just simply it sits on 0. It has been wired up correctly with the instructions and the 180 km cut out works. How do i get the speed readings to work? Is there some tuning or settings that you have to play around with? It has only been installed not tuned to my car... Any help appreciated...

I have the same problem. I put new plugs in and its fine for a while but a month or so later it starts missfiring again? How so you know if your coils are stuffed? is there somewhere you can send them?

Why 0.8mm? My mate did his to 1.1mm saying thats what ngk specified for the rb25??

Its the BOV for sure. It happens to me also. You can keep the BOV and stop it from doing that by tightening the BOV, if adjustable, my turbosmart one is.
