my mate is after a set of 33 rims He is in sydney and want to know how much wud it cost to get them sent up here? Also wat condition are they in?

Probably can but for how long? Prob last like a couple of moths... I would never run over 12 psi on stock internals after that u are just killing ur engine.

Had a few runs with a twin turbo supra last night. Quick cars but not too quick for a gtst. my car is stock boost with zaust and filter and cooler and kept close behind all the way. with a bit of boost and a good launch u can take one or stay even with him. As for rexes some are damn quick! Anyone know how much boost they run stock? Is it like 15 psi?

I would personally prefer a r33 GTr cause its newer, r32 are a bit old... Is it me or is the r32 dash look real dated? When i sit in a r33 it feels like a new car but the r32 interior is old and small and just done appeal to me at all! but from the outside the look of the r32 from the front those lights..... All i can say is beast!!! i love the r32 body!

as above i am after the plastic box that clips in around our gear stick, and in good condition...

votes speak for themselves. You will open a door to a whole lot of little problems if you do the conversion and it will eventually cost you much more than you expected, and of course resale...

Black, GTR blue and GTR purple are my fav colours for the skylines. Silver is very nice especially with a nice set of rims but it is way too common. I dont find anything wrong with wine red, the 1st line that i nearly bought was wine red and loved it!!

I dont really mind when people put GTR kiy's all over their cars, same deal with 400r kits and the like as they help break things up a bit between the other GTST's. But i dont like when i see a GTR badge on a gtst. I think it is wrong cause by placing that badge u are instantly stating that ur car is a GTR and all the road respect that goes with it...

Thx george and loz. You guys know how it is with these car and the temptation they bring, not to mention the attention from other sports car drivers. I dont think i was hard done by at all, not even unlucky (it was just a matter of time), and with all the light focused recently on these types of cars i would expect it to happen quite often. There is still a bit more cruise time left while i delay the suspension, just dont want to see the car go. But in the long run it should lead to a nice GTR in the driveway and the times will roll on.

Ive decided its for sale... Will post up soon... Temptation to drive whilst suspended is too great and have already been to court for this before. Look at getting a r33 gtr within the next year or so or maybe even a r34 gtr depending on $$$. Keep it real guys, and take it easy!!!

.....I hope not!!!Now its a matter of thinking if i will sell it or not. I have rebuilt the engine and spent big $$$ on it in maintenance and car stuff... I just dont know if it is worth buying a new skyline or a GTR later that has prob been thrashed and going through that all over again, now that mine is running good. What would you guys do?

yeh use it for work only once or twice a week. dont really mattere tho. Hopefully these 9 months go faster than the previous 3 months. Torture...

People i was clocked last night at 165 clicks on syd einfeld drive... coming around the bend the cops see me and lidar detect me. Never thought anything like this was ever possible to happen to me, now i am in big dilemmas and have a long suspension! Finally i have learnt from this example and now hopefully you guys can look at this and learn cause in the end run the few seconds of fun can turn out into a nightmare...

my mate has a rb20 silvia. pretty quick car, heaps responsive and zippy. awesopme car toi drive. keeps up with gtst at low rev range but when it gets to late 2nd gear or 3rd the top end of the skyline just pulls on...

What bleed valve do you have. Some of the valves are gated and apparently bring boost on harder and faster... I have a bleed in and it goes right up to the amount set at low revs...

Theres a time and a place for everything.... I personally do not see anything wrong with organised illegal off street drags in industrial areas. Its all part of the fun of having a quick car. Part of the fun of owning a skyline is driving it and getting some of the potential out of it! People that have quick cars and drive like granny's are a waste, buy a NA skyline or what ever else! All you have to do is chosse a good moment, where there are no nearby people and cops:p

I was pulled over the other night out the front of Bondi Junction police station by a paddy wagon. the next second a officer runs out to my car from inside the station then another cop car comes from aroud the corner and blocks me in from the front. I had no clue what was going on. They say it was a "Random breath test" but that is BS! kept me waiting for over 15 minutes then after taking my licence details and my passenger they let me go! Total waste of my time!

Why is it that your plenum is silver colour (chrome) like your piping? How did you do it? How much did it cost?

Duncan i have this same problem at the moment. I had new plugs in but changed them 2 days ago anyways to irriduim with .8mm gap. i have exhaust, cooler, boost to 9psi. When i 1st changed the plugs it worked well on 8-9 psi but after a big night cruising last night (gave it a bit!) and i put it up to 10 for a while then it began again... So i lowered boost back to 8 and now it does it non stop. i think its the coilovers, which is apparently a very expensive fix ($1000 and up).. keep me in touch if you hear anything new.

The plugs i have are the standard from nissan

So is it best to just gap my existig plugs (which are clean and have no probs with them) or buy irridium plugs? i dont care if i have to spend $$$ as long as i get the best parts for the job. I also hear that the stock plugs when boosted a lot can melt and stuff everything up?????

So you think that just buying new spark plugs wont do it? does this happen to all skylines with factory plugs?
