So, my rb20det has a bit of a misfire issue. What happens is while idling sounds okay however when throttle is applied is begins to misfire, i replaced the iridium plugs today, they were completely black with some bcpr6es-11's. However the problem is still there when doing the spark plugs i did check all the coil packs to make sure they're sparking and they were, one coil pack had look to have been chewed by mice or something but this coil pack still sent spark. My next step is to replace the fuel filter and put some injector cleaner in the tank. and my plugs are gaped at 1.1mm is this correct? Any other suggestions as to what to look for? E: should mention that the car is running very rich so its most likely a fuel issue

Im due to pick up a R32 GTST 1992 model next week. I knew before inspection that the car had a rough idle. Now it starts only if you give it a bit of throttle when started it sounds like a big v8 then stalls after about 5 minutes of idling. Car is pretty much stock apart from a boost tee, and a fmic Now what im thinking is a) Air flow meter or b) coil packs or c) timing is out Any other ideas to what would cause this?

Wasnt sure where to post this so i thought id give it a go here. Ill be buying a Nissan pulsar in the next few weeks and i was wondering how long can a SR20 go before it dies? i have an offer for one with 245kms but im not sure how long it will last. it hasnt been thrashed or anything and used primarily for highway use. any ideas on how long it would last?
