hey guys, im thinking of putting together a 30's page? what you reckon worth it or not? i mean i am going to set up a page for my car regardless, but then i was thinking there is no definitive r30 info resource.... if you guysthink it'll work, let me know and i'll start getting info etc cheers

when putting a vg30 on a rb, do all the oil lines etc line up exact or what? also, i've got the dr30 (fj20) dash in mine, any one know how to hook up the tach... i mean the tach signal is one wire, but there's 3 on the back of the tacho, (i'd assume signal, earth and power?) and also will the signal direct from the computer run the tacho accurately or at all?

yeah, end tanks are where ever, should have specified i was talking only about the core cause if this does happend, end tanks outlets are customized to where ever

is there a difference between a rising rate regulator and this one?

i drilled a n/a supra with an rb20det with only an exhaust and boost, and i mean drilled - 3 car lengths or so. then again 140rwKw in a 1200kg car...

it will work well but it will work better with more boost. get a bleed vavle put in, get this and you'll be laughing. raising the boost is pretty cheap these days

nah it was tuned for a 3" exhaaust .9 bar and stock turbo

how convenient, im looking for one at the moment. hows the condition on that sucker? and what you askin? crimmo: try InjectMaz for wiring. i know he's done a 30 to rb20 before and he can often beat or match prices but the best thing, he can come to you if you ask nice. pretty cheap for cash too... also, im still in the dark with these calipers... should i get em and try, i mean if they dont fit, they can be made to fit without too much hassle, so it wont be a total waste? oh yeah, crimmo, what discs you using at the back? anyone know the size of dr30 rear discs, the DBA thing lists something like 258 but apparaently thats wrong...

the computer is a tuned standard late model series r32 gtst computer. tuned by martin donnan (of HPI and ZOOM fame). made 160kw on the rb20 (exhaust, cooler and boost STOCK terbs) and will work on any silver top rb20. the turbo is a t28 from a r32 gtr. no shaft play, in excellent condition computer $500 ono turbo $400 ono in adelaide, can ship computer, can negotiate turbo any queries [email protected]

is there a clutch anywhere, standard or otherwise?

crimmo - to get them four spots on did you change to the r31 gts struts or did you adapt them with the standard mr30 stuff? im looking to do the 4spot converison soon and i have the 31 gts struts. anyone know of and hassles with this? and also crimmo, where did ya get that tower brace thingo (the blue thing) and how much? also crimmo - was your car auto l24 once and did you get dragged by a trashed r30 with an rb20 down paynhem rd? (a while ago now)

nah i dont think it was, mine is the blue/silver color but at the moment it has alot of base coat on it as its almost ready for the resray...

thats what i figured so i was checking to see if anyone has ever got a REAL answer and then passed at a later date
