sorry to cut in here with another topic, but... does any one know the legal limit to lower to front of a r30? is a specific height from the wheel arch to the centre of the wheel or is it that 100mm rule? i need accuarte info as im looking to take it through Regency and apparaently they're pretty picky

after drilling a VS SS with some work done in a stock looking mr30 4 door with (at the time) standard 14" rims, the woggy dude open his window and says: "thats not standard" i laughed but he was cool, the first and only time i ever did over a V8 and the dude was impressed

stagefumer11- when i did the conversion to rb20 i think the place used the original l24e xmember which i'd assume is the same as the l20et. for the intercooler discussion:i also got my intercooler custom made by Bremon Welding for like $750. it s pretty big, 700 x 35 x 7 (approx) and works well.

i got mine done mandrel bent and all for $150 and of all places... ProFix Modbury did a good job too

when i did mine i just used the r30 mount and the rb20 box went in fine

Ghostrider - there was no problem with the position of the anything. it was a really straight foward swap -
rsx84 - the rims rubbed slightly on full lock but on only one side. its getting sprayed soon so it may loose some of its sleeper apeal, im not sure to go something like a later skyline silver or something crazy like r33 GTR purple.. any thoughts anyone?

hey, does anyone know if the tacho signal from a fj20 will match that of a rb20? the reason i ask is i have a r30 skyline with a fj20 instrument cluster but its running an rb20. so can i simply run the signal from the computer to the instrument cluster or does it need to be modified (via a chip or something) as i know the signal was different with the original l24 instrument cluster. any help would be good Mike
