simon-s14 think thats his user name said a few guys including him made 300rwkw with a stock manifold external gate low mount gt3076 with a .63 rear hey kwickr33 whats the ss2 like driving around town boost like is it quick spooling compared to a garrett and whats the transition of boost ie when driving off the lights in 1st then into 2nd and so on the price stao whants for his ss2 is what i can get a gt3076 and modified manifld with external gate for give or take $200-$300
-
thanks for the chat simon based on what simon have told me looks like im gonna grab a gt3076 with a .63 rear housing and settle for a 44mm external gate hopefully see a responsive 280-300rwkw on 18psi or so
-
if i was to get a gt3076 im happy to go external wastegate thats not a problem but im atill trying to convince myself if a hypergear will be as responsive as a 3076 and make 300 well 290rwkw IW on 18psi but looking at dynos it seems they spike a bit can anyone comment what would be the better option its goin to cost about the same for the hypergear as its goin to for the 3076
-
I haven't really seen any results on the ss2 in the 300rwkw on 18psi And what's the transition of boost like ie between gears and driving in traffic, Then it comes down to price As a Garrett gt3076 will be cheaper what will make close to 300 easier with less lag and more reliability

Didn't mean to offend was referring to it making 300rwke on sensible boost, tweakit as I said .76 http://www.tweakit.net/shop/product_info.php?cPath=326_367_378&products_id=6637 Not to sure if It will make the power I'm after they do claim it will make 330rwkw but I'm sure that's prob 25/30psi lol
-
hey guys been told this is a gt3076 part number from searching matches a gt3076 dont understand what the kcm05545 means as most just say gt3037 or 3076 ive attached a pic
-
yeah thats what i was reading about the gt3076 .76 rear very shit how responsive are taos new turbos i havent used one in years and ill be very happy with a responsive 290rwkw i would say with no more then 18psi
-
nah his a normal person on here on not 100% sure after speaking with stao for a while im seriously thinking about getting one of his turbos again as i really want 300rwkw or close to it and want to stay internal gate
-
yeah its not a garrett rear housing its made by GCG,tweakit and AVO
-
yeah i know i had a guy offer me a gt3076 its the .76 internal gate rear housing which is a direct bolt on for our rb20/rb25 dump pipe pleaces like GCG and tweakit sell it im a bit worried as its not a genuine garrett housing as i only want a .82 and im happy to make my own dump pipe to suit but the guy claims he made 284rwkw on a rb25 on bp98 with only 18psi
-
hey guys just wondering about the gt3076 what kind of power figures can the gt3076 with the internal wastegate .76 rear housing make on a rb25det with supporting mods from my understanding and results ive seen that they are not the best choice of rear housing for the turbo to suit the rb25 engine can anyone help
