Hi All, Just new to V series Skylines ( had couple of R33 S2 in the past) I recently bought one V35 Skyline Coupe auto with 119K Kms on clock. There is a Check engine light sign on the dash. I did a quick diagnostic mode test and found the Code P0037 When I start the car , it dies if I don't accelerate the first time. I am not sure if this is related to CEL(check engine light)? I cleaned MAF so far and getting the service done soon. do you know anyone in South East Suburbs who can help me diagnose this problem ? thanks in advance.

Hi everyone I've had some issues with R33 series II engine and wiring , so had to change the engine and found the good deal for Series 1.5 engine , wiring harness/loom and ECU. Got that done few months back and the power steering was heavy after that. Mechanic said that because the series 1.5 loom he couldn't find (One that goes to Hicas unit) , he left it as is and disconnected the hicas from boot ( blue wire) and took the bulb out from odo. When I installed that HICAS bulb in Odo , that was constantly ON. I diagnosed the HICAS that came with error 12 means no power to the HICAS Motor So I played around with series 1.5/2 rear loom under the steering column and connected the HICAS wire in the boot. The HICAS Light turned OFF. But steering wheel is still heavy. Am I now expecting the speedo wires not connected ? I haven't diagnosed that unit again. any one have had these issues? any help will be greatly appreciated I have a 1996 Skyline R33 series II with sunroof Thanks guys

I don't know how to find that out. I know this thing that Series I doesnt have HICAS but Series II has. now with my car ive recently installed Series I looms, ECU and S1 engine ( S2 harness have been pulled out) so does that mean its not connected? I heard if HICAS Is a issue it gets heavier . whats the possible solution you can think of? needs a Series I power steering parts?

Same Scenario with my car! but no probs with idle I got s2 type m r33 and engine i just got put in had only 88K on clock ( straight from the half cut) its a S1 engine had to do all the loom changes , engine etc etc. took abt 6 weeks to complete! should i put a fuel filter or just leave it ? -

hi guys i just spent about 3350$ on my car got a fully stock R33 engine , harness and ecu with labour. now everything is okay except the power steering and speedo Power steering looks like doesn't work. I checked the fluids and all, everything is topped up but still that doesn't work . what it could be? before engine replacement it was all good

Series I coilpacks are different to R33 Series II Series I has separate ignitor Series II and NEO is similar but they had different shapes. ( I know all this because I have DIS008 Splitfire coilpacks for sale ) The Stalks are in the middle ,means its for R34 GTT neo engine if its on the side its for R33 S2 DIS 005 (model) , S1 is called DIS 001 . Just take some photos and post it here

Hello everyone for sale is my RB25 NEO engine. I had that installed in my R33 Series II . I have now installed a R33 engine in it with new loom and new ecu. The engine block comes with Injectors (aftermarket) I am not sure what brand are they , haven't had chance to look at that. Intake plenum Blow off valve Manual boost controller Wiring loom ( Piggy back removed) Standard ECU It doesn't have the Turbo as shown as its put back into my car and no coilpacks No compression test has been done . Make me an offer and its all yours. Nissan skyline R33 GTST Series II Engine: RB25DET Failure: Blue smoke coming out of the exhaust, turbo healthy , so it was the Ringland. Also Cold startup problem and Rich and Retard problem , Full tank would last me 200Kms. Reason : Tuned by Some guy in Sydney , Piggy back removed and ECU was mostly disconnected. Resolution: Car is now getting another engine with full harness , ECU and Stock R33 engine is 90K on clock . Changing timing belt at the same time.

Hey man FET , there is a this FET brand turbo timer as well , is that some old turbo timer thing ? to check that , have a ook at the ignition unit if there is an extra harness that goes into some unit. if not that , it could be some cut off relay for some electronic component as stereo ( check if wires are coming from fuse box) and where does that go to.

Dev man the guy said its running a haltech ecu but when i saw on left hand side its normal ecu with many wires cut itsjust better to get rid of this engine and put a stock one

I have been told by mechanic that I have a R4 Engine in my Skyline R33 S2 Thats the reason some of the wiring is different on this one. I have a High Idle of 1000 RPM+ , I had a problem with Aircon in summer that If I would turn that on my car will just die. So I was looking at some wires I found that MAF and AAC wiring are left as is and not connected. I got two plugs spare that are not in use , I remember that they were connected in my old S2 ( that I sold ) can anyone tell me what to do with these one ? I've marked them with green color! Any help will be highly appreciated
