well hello there people. I got a bit a pickle here. I have got a R31 with a standard RB30E motor in it matched with a auto gear box I am going to turbo it cause it's gonna be a drifter. I have got a choice between a RB20DET that is stock as a rock, Minus turbo,injectors,exhaust manifold,belts and a wiring harness. I can get the motor for $500 though. But i can also get a rb30et head,Polished,custom exhaust manifold,Intercooler piping and a BOV all for $350 I know some people will say go the rb20 motor, just because it;s twincam insted of the rb30et gear. But i only plan to have fun in the car and i don't wish to compete. So it's just a car to go have fun in. it is going to be my first drift car. So what would be the pro's and cons of these motor's and gear ? cheers in advance

get a alt from a landcrusier. that's most of the SPL guy's use in australia. i know people who used one on a charade. i think there around the 120a to. just go the a wreckers and have a look

well the schnider draws around 400+amps at full tilt. not the best amp lol Im running the system off a fusion headunit LOL. I only got 2 batterys. One out of a commodore for the front and a 100A/H for the rear ( i mean rear lol). and i never get below 12.3V

5000rms lol. well i got a schnider SPA7000X,Fusion 2ch amp,kenwood 4ch amp, Polk audio MM's 6.5", Alpine type-R co-axil. Digital Design DDZ12. pusing around the low 150's in a corolla. but im over sound lol im selling every thing off and going for speed

ok people, no need for a skyline now i FOUND ONE YAY !!!!! picked me a up a pretty much stock R31 just as a wanted.

If your gonna do most of that stuff might aswell do all the fluids through out the whole car. then you know that all the fluids are brand spanking new and nothing bad can go wrong.

cmon someone must have a R31 they want to get rid of for cheap ??

looks good. really neat set up in the boot too . tbh you wont need a HO alt. You would only need one of them if your pushing around 10,000rms or more. I only got 5000rms in my car and i have no problems starting it. saying that i do have a second battery. But invest some money into a decent battery to sit in the boot. Also hop onto mobile electronics for some help.

wow seems your on your way to making a top notch skyline, How did you go painting the rocker cover and intake manifold ? has it flaked or bubbled at all ?
