  4. Hey mate, you can apply at you local department of fair trading office. I'm a property manager so I take non paying tenants there for performance orders. You can also take other matters there, think of it as a small court without legal representation. It may sound daunting but the process is fairy easy going and private. You may even come to an agreement before it goes to a registrar. Basically you apply and they will send either party a notice to show up at a specific date and time at a local Cttt office. You will have a chance to go into a room with a mediator before the case is heard, if no agreement is come to you will stand before a registrar and tell them your case. Be polite and keep your head on, from experience registrars demand this kind of respect if you want it to go your way. Goodluck champ!
  5. Take it to tribunal, $40 application fee from memory... As long as you are prepared with notes ect. You may be able to get something out of it.
  6. This method works really well if done correctly, darker colour cars a mutch easier to do this with, silver is the hardest. A little tip.... bicycle tyre repair kits have these steel tools (used to get the tyre of the wheel) that act great as a little sanding block with little surface area that is level and easy to control. You should also use 2500 grit wet and try for this job... and soapy water works just as well as spit
  7. Can't the headgasket just be changed to decrease compression and therefore run more boost? Thats what we used to do to n/a supras when we went turbo.......
  8. Spotted clean gunmetal r32 gtr turning from kissing point road onto marsden road at around 11:30ish. I was in the silver r33 gtr
  9. Theres nothing more i love than detailing my car aswell, a bit of music and a few beers after make me a happy camper. I am currently however put off as my front bar and bonnet have stone chips.
  10. Those mother F******. I hope they are caught. Sorry to hear this mate.
  11. Dont know about the merzerna polish mate, but when i did up my haines signature i used a good fibreglass polish and it came up great. Goodluck!
  12. As my garage is full at the moment my gtr is living in my driveway. My dog went off last night, so as usual i ran to the front to make sure my baby was ok (im paranoid even though i live in a good area).... no one was to be seen. After reading this thread, i just so happened to check out my badge on my way out of the office and noticed a scratch on paint leading up to the badge (very small) that looks like someone has tryed to pry it off with a screw driver. This was not there before and i saw kids walking the street a little earlier that night. Note to self: Clear out garage and buy a gun. Note to adz2332: Buy a dog.
  13. I sprayed the front lip on my gtr with satin black.... looks perfect! Satin Black +1!
  14. Thanks for the help so far guys, I'll let you guys know how I go.
  15. Yea... I'll give it a go this weekend and see how it feels. I'll bleed the clutch system and see if that does anything as well.
  16. Nope, honestly. Only 1 launch since I've owned it (wasn't even a hard launch)....
  17. I've got a 1964 Datsun l320, three on the tree . So fun to drive!
  18. No clue, I purchased the car a few months ago. Reason I haven't changed it is that I am doing the 100k service next month so I was going to get it all taken care of in 1 hit. This happened all of a sudden though, so I'm guessing it's not that. It was smooth a few days ago and now it's a bitch to drive.
  19. Hey guys, have been searching the forums to no avail for someone who has had similar problems that I am having with my r33 Gtr. First gear is really hard to engage, same with reverse. And a little notchy throught all of the gears. Mostly like this all the time, I think temperature has a bit to do with it as well as when cold, still notchy and hard to engage but not as bad as when it's hot. If I roll slowly (-5km/h) it pops into 1st no problems. Master cylinder is full, visually everything seems to be ok. No leaks that I can see out of the slave cylinder. Clutch started slipping a tiny bit in 3rd the other morning (gearbox still cool), could this all be tied in? Really confused and need to get this fixed quickly, its my daily at the moment. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks guys.
  20. No worries, thanks anyways.
  21. Have a steering wheel by any chance?
  22. good luck with sale mate.... looks like alot of car for 17.5k!
  23. Did you have any other work done to the car, from my research there are alot of guys making full boost with -5's around 4k with adjustable cam gears. 5k is an awuful long time! lol
