Just a thought, if i pump some pressure into the vac line through my compressor wont the valve open up and the valve seat go with it?

I bought a set of these -12 fittings of a guy on here who didnt use his. Im having a lot of trouble installing them. Ive tried heating up the valve cover and freezing the fittings and having at them with a rubber mallet but they wont go it t all? Any tips?

Not 100% sure, it came with the kit i purchased. Seems quality before and the gate was fitted to it without a drama on an r32 gtr (i have an r33 gtr)

Your both right, the pressure i had to apply to mate the surfaces was extreme. Im not able to do the clamp up and keep it compresed. Is there a trick to doing this?

Hahaha that's not a stupid question. Any help or suggestions are much appreciated (especially when im so close to getting this thing on the road). It feels pretty solid though so I'm not sure if that would work. It feels like there is a gap between the two flanges becuase of tge valve seat ring.

Hi guys, my mate and i attempted to mount a tial 44mm waste gate onto my manifold today and ran into a few dramas. I bought the gate without the v-band clamps so went down to gcg turbos to get a vband. It fits on the waste gate inlet and the manifold individually but will not clamp when the surfaces are mated. It seems as if the clamp is too narrow to get around both flanges. Are there specific v-bands that suit the tial 44mm gates? Thanks
